What a snot-dabbing, lilly-livered, frog-worshipping, automatic bot-replying idiot that I refuse to type a reply or comment to... because it would be a waste of my non-bot response by typing a response to a non-responding bot who is non responsive nor respectful to my non-bot self...

That would only post the first comment, should be Math.floor(Math.random() * comments.length)

I'm boring so I'll answer your question seriously instead of giving you a snarky remark.
Most people don't.
The people who reply to the obvious automated Thanks messages don't know they are automated.
(Oh, and by the way- not every obviously automated Thanks message is actually automated. That's not what you asked for though, just putting it out there. :P )

I'm not sure if I count. I always read the description of the giveaways I enter. If there's something written there, I try to reply to it, and if it's blank then I just copy-paste my regular thank you message, which at the moment is:
"Thank you! 🌼"
I like to use emojis. I used a jack-o-lantern emoji through October. I feel like maybe it's too soon for something festive. Maybe a snowflake? It's only November, though, so I don't know about that. Has anyone even had any snow yet? Places that always have snow don't count.
I will admit though, if somebody answers me back saying "good luck!" I usually don't reply again, because it seems a bit silly to say "thank you" twice. So maybe people then assume I'm a bot...
Honestly, it kind of hurts my feelings that most people think commenters and level zeros are bots and scammers. I'm just too poor to buy games. I like to leave a comment with my gratitude, even if it's just copypasted. I know, I know, I'm the exception. It just feels a little disheartening to be instantly judged.
Edit: Oh, and I don't mind the idea of a captcha. I mean, it'd be way more annoying to try and thank people, but maybe it would be worth it. The thing is, though; does it really matter if a commenter is a bot or not? It's not like saying thank you gets them an extra entry into the giveaway. If we did add a captcha, what would be the reward? Knowing that the person commenting isn't a bot? Is that... important?

That was damn funny.
Still. With the option to pre write multiple different comments, what distinguishes them from a real person

if there will be captchas then I would post like 10% of "thank you and bumps" lol, captchas are tedious af
I usually bump threads by saying "bump c:" because it's easy to find on the thread so i know that I already bumped the thread, sadly it looks like a bot lol

Most of the comments are posted by bots and you think oh wow what a nice guy he said thanks.
@steamgifts.com maybe it's time for a captcha protection at the comment section?
