Alekon is really cute and wholesome. I mean, well, duh- it's a photography game where the most violent thing you can do is throw donuts at stuff. So, yeah, it is pretty nice.
Bug Fables is really nice and charming too. (Though it does have its serious and even horror moments.) I think I can safely say that I'm not too much of a fan of the whole Paper Mario press-the-buttons-to-properly-perform-attacks thing though. It got kinda tiring to have to constantly be focusing on that even against minor enemies for dozens of hours and failing against bosses usually meant that the attack completely whiffs and I just wasted a character's turn... Getting my entire party chain numbed (paralyzed) because I didn't manage to properly time my block against an AoE attack is also kinda annoying... But, anyhow, still a pretty good game.

What about adding a game you're not sure you can finish this month to have a second chance at it next month? There is a game I want to start playing tomorrow, but I tend to be a bit slow with these types of games so I'm not sure I can finish it with only 10 days left. Would that still be considered cheating? If it is, I can play it slowly on the side outside of the event.

To be fair, this month's entries shouldn't count at all for anybody but there is no specification in the theme. However, even if you know you cannot finish that game in this month, you'll still spend some time with it. In the end, it's your backlog and if you see the theme as a bridge between 2 months, I would say that's a perfectly fine justification.
Some months I don't add a game just because I know I won't finish it even if I start from day 1. Maybe I should find one of those games and use this theme as well.

Well its still more up to what sam is okay with but weve also had that happen. I pointed it out to the original person that with time I wouldn't call that cheating at all because you put time in it. Only time with tell if they do decide to exclude this month but I don't think there's really anyone clearly adding a million games for next month to give them a reason to do so
Maybe you don't finish it in time but maybe you end up doing so. I know I added yakuza 5 2 months ago thinking I could finish it as the other few got done in a week but then it got to a point where it was like huh I don't think I can finish this game in such a small amount of time. I personally deleted it because I don't like having my stats not match but many people don't do that since stats aren't important. Where's my hidden ga for perfect stats SAM!

Who can participate
Anyone who does not have any unactivated wins. You can participate even if you don't have any SteamGifts wins, see the "Have already completed all your wins?" below as it applies to this scenario too.
Extra Rules:
If it gives you one bundle of games with one steam ID then it depends. Do they each have achievements of their own (including an ending achievement)? Then go ahead and play them separately. Though make a note in the notes section, so we know what to look for. Non achievement games or games that play continuously (e.g. all entries play through without an ending between them) are not allowed atm since we do not have a good way to track them separately.
