Wow.. I really wish I would have known about this when it happened. My nephew somehow wiped my entire hard drive on my 360, so I lost my dang saves for every single game I own for it. It would have been nice to pick up a really cheap copy of Dark Souls for Steam, since I'd have to start over again anyway, haha.

Oh well, I guess. Dang lucky people. =P

True, but I imagine it's possible to find a workaround by using a VPN. Would have been tempted, though I'm not sure if I would have done it.. I imagine it's a bit of a risk.

As for trading, if I had keys, or things to actually trade, I would most certainly try to get myself a copy that way, but I don't bother with those things. But, maybe I can try to find somebody on CAG that has some copes of the game to sell..

Except unlike Russia, we didn't have a different ID for this game. Exact same version that most of the world gets, so no risk of that.

We don't even have a different currency yet, just different prices that we pay in US dollars.

Though considering Dark Souls is the same price here as it is in the US, I don't know what happened there.

Thanks to new Steam Region Locking, Steam ID is not totally safe for traders, as Valve can always block region-trading, and AU is it's own region.

But if you just buy it and activate right away, you're good to go.
