Curious to how many of the users in this community are video editors. I have something coming up for you guys especially but it's for people who shoot video ( not of games and gaming ) like movies and action stuff using DSLR, GoPro's.

Please post your video editing software name. If you have any public videos - post them too.

You can see my work at http://youtube.com/Techzei ^_^

Have you tried "stabilisation" or stabilising the footage?

Also which software did you edit on?

I have stabilised a sample clip given to us for stabilising.. It's really just as simple as a click on the option (probably on After Effects..don't remember)
I have editted on Premiere.. and windows movie maker on Windows XP
Made two AMVs long back on Movie Maker.. but they were just bad.. very poor (and less) editting.
I have also used After Effects for little bit of roto/wire-removal/match moving.. but all those were just practise assignment.
Made a (extremely) short clip though, used premiere to edit for that... was shot with a normal cam though, although I wasn't the one to do it.

That's good. You fall into the category of whom I wanna be giving away the software! :D

Thank you but it would be a waste to do so because I don't do those things anymore.

I haven't tried it, but I think it's quite simple on AE.

Yes. It's simple on AE. I have found a nice stabilisation tool/software on steam. Would like to give it away soon :D

Yes, I was using AE stabiliser couple of times :) it didn't always worked as I wanted but it was probably because of quality of more dynamic clips

It depends on the clips as well, how much shakes are in the video itself. These days I'm shooting 4K so I get more room to frame my shot and crop it while stabilisation.

I've been reviewing this software which is available on steam which fixes stabilisation from videos. Still formulating my thoughts on the product, wondering if the giveaway should be done on SG.

Just saw the software, looks good and helpful~ :) if I were you I would giveaway it on sg but in group or private.

I would certainly do it private. Plus I run a tech website on which I'd have the review up, the giveaway will mostly take place there itself, couldn't even find a handful of people who would be into this :P

Don't want random people to just get into the giveaway to add more stuff to the library.
