Firefox was just updated with a new layout. In my opinion, it looks putrid. Is there any way to revert back to the previous layout?

Try classic theme restorer from addons category.

Classic theme restorer has no support for WebEx, it's not longer supported.

"This add-on will stop working when Firefox 57 arrives in November 2017 and Mozilla drops support for XUL / XPCOM / legacy add-ons. It will work in Firefox 52 ESR until ESR moves to Firefox 59 in 2018 (~Q2).

Waterfox browser is based on Firefox and will keep legacy add-on support, so CTR will work even after Firefox 57 release.

There is no "please port it" or "please add support for it" this time. The entire add-on eco system changes and the technology behind this kind of add-ons gets dropped."

Dang it. I hoped I will be able to use it to restore previous theme.

But maybe someone else will make different addon like this for this ff version? But as changes were implemented today we will have to wait some time before something like this will sprout.

Yeah, give it time or use one of the forks (e.g.: Waterfox).

I just took a look on 57 and it's awful, how can someone think that this is better. -_-

I use the classic theme restorer add on, but I am still using Firefox 50.1, have not verified it on newer versions.

Edit: It says it works up to FF 56, I don't think it works anymore on 57 because apparently "WebExtensions can not modify browsers appearance in Firefox 57+", but you may be able to make some of the changes yourself with a bit of work.

Had the same problem yesterday - updated to v57 Quantum and almost all my add-ons stopped working (because a lot of them are not yet supported in the Quantum version of FF).
I couldn't find any guide on how to downgrade, but on one website I found that you can uninstall FF v57 from control panel and then reinstall an older version of FF but using a full install kit. This way you will revert to the previous state.
I got the full kit from filehippo (for v56 is about 34.1 MB), because on FF website is a "light" installer that downloads v57 in the background and you get back to the same point.

After install all my add-ons / themes, extensions are working just fine.
Today, FF told me there is an update available and asked if I want to upgrade... gave it the middle finger :D

Hope this helps you fix your FF!

You can grab all past releases (full installers) from Mozilla "FTP": https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/

The ESR version (meant for large organisations) will still be using the old interface and extensions/addons etc until mid-2018 I think
They still release security updates for it as well

You can install it separately but it uses your regular Firefox profile(s) (bookmarks, addons etc.)
