I personally use Malware bytes and windows defender and adblock. Also, you probably already know this, but if you still have viruses and malware on your PC. Best way of getting rid of it (without deleting everything on you PC) is go to your control panel and start uninstalling all the programs that seem suspicious to you. Then go to your task manager and go to the detail tab and look through all the programs and if you find something that your PC doesn't need just end its task. Once you have done all of that, the next thing you should do is delete one of your web browser. However before you delete one make sure you have two web browsers. For example I would delete google chrome first and all of its files from my PC. Then I would go into internet explorer and do a fresh install of chrome. Once I have chrome installed I would then delete internet explorer and do a fresh install of that. Once you have done all of these things then start running the virus cleaning software. Also sometime chrome has extensions and sometime these extensions won't go away even if you reinstall it. So to get rid of these extensions, you have to go to the chrome settings there you will see an extensions tab on the left. Go there and start deleting the extensions that you don't need. Or just delete them all.

Malwarebytes + Spybot Search & Destroy run both in safe mode with latest updates. For browsing the web grab Ublock Origin and Noscript extensions. If you really wanna be safe grab a program called DeepFreeze "it's not free tho" but it's what LAN centers use on their PCs. If your computer becomes infected you just reboot the computer and it's gone.
