SPOILERS
Yeah, just the first encounter tbh. Though I got lucky and she got stuck on my 1999 run. Then I could snipe her like 25 times in the head with fully upgraded sniper as fast as i could while on 5% health. So one try

I did the other two on my first go just running around because you had the space for it. The first one though...
And every time you died she healed completely but you had less ammo, so you may as well reload a checkpoint. And don't even get me started on that cut scene.
Apart from the first encounter everything wasn't too bad, even guarded the ship on my second go.
But yea, got there in the end

Stun gun, typhoon. Rinse, repeat until victory. (Yes, on Give Me Deus Ex)
Every single other boss fight in that game is 100% stun gun spammable until the cutscene kicks in, so I guess he recovers a fraction of a second faster for some reason.

I loved almost everything about the most recent Deus Ex game, with the possible exception of the boss fights. Apparently if you've gone rambo the rest of the game (but then why play deus ex?) the boss fights are just more of the same, but if you've gone with the sneaky pacifist hacker build it's just not fun at all. Hope the Wii U boss fight changes come to the pc version... :)

I'm not going to say the boss fights were good, because they weren't. But at least they also weren't hard. In fact they're even easier if you go full stealth (ie all normal enemies get takedowns, not use any ammo), because all you do is hoard stun gun ammo and then spam it on the bosses until they die. You don't get hit, you're not in any danger.
But like I said, for whatever reason Namir is the only one whose stun lock will end before you load the next stun, which you can get around if you put one praxis point into typhoon (I like to keep at least 1 spare at all times, I only actually activated typhoon right before I triggered the fight, after the first time the usual method didn't work out). You stun him, jog over, typhoon. Again and again and again.
And then you never use typhoon again.

Me too, I was trying to get all achievments... And for some reason I decided to go to the hospital thing and get the new chip... Voila, boss battle impossible. I had no good weapons, no augs, uh... I even tried carrying in the turrent from outside but that didn't go to well either. I ragequit and uninstalled the game after about 30 tries...

I'm always a little surprised at the number of people who do that sidequest on their first playthrough. Don't get me wrong I'm usually a complete psychotic when it comes to 'must ... finish every ... quest rawr' but the whole set up for that thing was just screaming 'warning, danger will robinson' to me I decided not to.

When the battle begins, run left to the corner of the room. Namir will jump over the wall. Typhoon lock him and he's down after ~3 typhoons on hardest difficulty.
Without typhoon, yeah, the bastard is pretty damn difficult. Especially if you did that thing (don't want to spoil) that makes the battle even harder.

My favourite boss fight in the game, especially in co-op :) I prefer to kill Smough first.

Yes :) It might've been so tough because it was the first real boss and the battle started so quickly it scared the sh*t out of me. Got it on my second try when I came prepared :p later bosses felt easier after getting claymore in firelink shrine, that sword is so op in PvE!
