Most of the bosses I've fought on the SNES. To be fair though most of those playthroughs were when I first got the system at the tender age of 6 or 7.

The only hard boss I can remember right now is the ghost from bioshock infinite ( I don't name it so I don't spoil anyone). In 1999 mode, this boss is a pain in the ass, and you have to defeat it 3 freaking times.

Meta Ridley in Metroid Prime. It took longer to get used to dodging his attacks than the final boss.

I thought Leon's final boss fight was way more annoying. Playing with a stupid AI partner only made things worse =/

a boss on a megamen game for the ds, it had a shield and nearly all attacks did no damage to it. I never managed to beat it.

I had trouble with the Clone DLC in Duke Nukem forever. The final boss was so long and difficult. Luckily I died 40~ times on hard playing it through the first time before I went back through on insane and won!

The only boss who I never managed to defeat was Satan himself, at the end of the game Messiah.
Other hard bosses: Kintaro in Mortal Kombat 2, Alisa Bosconovitch in Tekken 6, The final Boss in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.

Nemesis in Resident Evil 3, but it was when I played RE3 for the first time and didn't knew basic dodges and stuff.

Diablos in Final Fantasy VIII alongside with Ultima Weapon and Omega Weapon. The hardest bosses of FFVIII. Of course now, after around 500-600h of playing FFVIII it's easy-peasy.

I raged on every single boss when I used to play WoW. Reason: stupid people in raid groups and master looters.

Get to 90 on a tank (or just dual spec with a pally/dk/druid dps/heals) and you can solo any non-Cata/MoP dungeon and any Classic or BC raid.

I know this from experience, and as far as I know all raids are now soloable (but WOTLK, Cata, and MoP will be incredibly difficult without a group)

It's several years since I played WoW the last time. I think I tried out Cata for a month and then stopped playing. I don't play MMOs too much 'cause I hate the addiction, I played WoW 4-5 years almost non-stop. I also hated that there always was someone with better equipment than I did and whenever I started feeling properly equipped for raids etc., a new patch came with new raids and better equip and I could start all over again. Probably never gonna play WoW ever again :P
