Don't know if it's Off-Topic, maybe changing later.

Hey,
I think alot of you (also me) are mad that you can't get any Positivity Tokens from you already exisiting Steam-Wallet.
But you get some when you deposit some money into your Steam-Account.
What if you Deposit like 100€, buy TF2 Keys, sell them on a real-money-for-items-platform, then take the money you got from that site and do it all over again. That's one way how you could "Farm" some tokens.
Sure, you will lose some money every time you buy and sell them, but maybe some can overlook that fact and do it anyway.
Bskins for example. You can sell a TF2 Key for 1.60$ there. Means that you make -0.40$ every time you sell one of them. With 100$ you can buy 49 TF2 Keys (on the s-market) and sell them on Bskins for a total of 78.4$,withdrawm, after that repeat it all again.
(Non-instant sales incur 5.00% fees, Instant sales incur 0% sale fees.)
I actually don't know, if there is an 7-Day-Ban on the TF2 Key. That would make it a bit less profitable.

Let me understand you are offering to loose 30% or more with each round of this for what? 10% game discount or stickers you can use for whole 2 months

Yes.
Last summer sale alot bought CS:GO Keys from the Ingame menu, for 2.20€, sold them on the market for 2.15€ and got out 1.88€.
-0.27€ every time they did this, just to get some (I think) boost tokens.
Why did they do this? To get the Badge. Sure, they Badge was way more worth it, but for people who also want to get the "new" Badge and dont want to pay 150€ this method is prolly the best for them.
Also, the emotes and profile backrounds are forever.

I hear you. How Gaben achieved that kind of nonsense behaviour among his clients is beyond me though.

Sometimes I feel like Valve could sell dog shit in a bag as long as it had a Steam logo on it.

I think they already do actually.

Eww, that involves physical stuff, that is bothersome.
Just make a badge, people will trick the system so it will cost less than the arbitrarily high price, and people feel like winners when they fork out tenfolds of a normal badge's price for it.
Save 50% on something you don't need, nao!

I think someone on here said, that you get 1600 Tokens by the end (correct me if I'm wrong).
That would mean one Badge, one backround and one emote.
I think that there are alot of people out there who want that high-level badge.

How much can you get if it's only slightly dented? Asking for a friend.
Also... friends can survive with just one kidney right?

The badge seems like it's limited to level 15 so don't think it's worthy to lose all that money for..

But i did do the CSGO keys thingy before it went viral and made good use to my 20$ lol..

Can confirm that buying TF2 keys on the market will mean waiting for a week to trade them :)

Also - there's nothing worth doing this for :D
