Both are wishlisted for a long time, i can get only one of them now.. I feel closer to the Bastion because it is released earlier.. Why should someone pick one over the other one ?

You just get additional soundtrack files downloaded to the location of your game files. It doesn't affect the game in any way.

Hehe nice translation however, google is getting more accurate with the time. I feel you, I'm the guy that keeps ordering physical music from Amazon.

Even then I'd recommend you to listen to it on Youtube/Spotify, it is really good.

Churros are more of a Latinamerican (Mexico, Colombia) thing but if you ever happen to visit Spain there's a huge deal in the food department that you could try out!

Played both: loved Bastion, hated Transistor.

Bastion first, imo. I finished the game but I surprisingly didn't have the will to progress much through Transistor :(

Still, both are VERY well made, as expected from Supergiant, and I definitely can't wait for Pyre :)

Played both, and honestly I enjoyed Transistor a lot less than i thought I would. The combat system was a bit odd to be turn based, and the game was too easy. I'd go with Bastion

I've heard some amazing things about Transistor and have it installed on my machine to play it soon(ish). However I've spent around 12h on Bastion(replayed it 3 times, that's how good the game and its replay value are) so I feel like I must recommend Bastion over anything (at least until I play Transistor and can give you a more subjective opinion).

You should play both. And you should play Bastion before Transistor.

Both are great. Bastion is funnier gameplay-wise imo. Transistor has an amazing ost and I liked the story more.
up to you!

It depends what setting you like more. For steam-punk/fantasy mix go for Bastion, for cyber-punk - Transistor. To be honest I lfinished only Bastion, for some reason I can't get through Transistor., in the future maybe.

I'm the kind of person that always likes to start at the start so I vote for Bastion. I haven't played Transistor yet though.

I'm very critical of games. Even when I enjoy a game overall I will constantly complain about things that could be improved. Bastion is one of the few games I find myself not complaining. I'm not saying it's the best game in the world but what it does it does well. Gameplay, Art, Music, Voice Acting. All great.

Bastion because it's easier to get for cheap and then Transistor later (or whenever you get a good deal). Also you get to see how SuperGiant has progressed this way.

In my opinion Bastion is much more of a solid game, with story, characters and gameplay wise (while not inovating it works).

Transistor art is great, story is nice. I do have 2 issues with Transistor, first that game begged for more world development, you get to know stuff but not enough and Combat system is innovative but weak, it is not polished for my taste, although i may be in the minority here.

Start with bastion, if you like it and want more Transistor will be a good choice to follow up and you will probably like it.

Got both, but for some reason haven't been able to get into Transistor yet.

Bastion feels much more pick-up & play, probably because it's a bit simpler in terms of mechanics.

Bastion is a great game you should've played at one point in your gamer's life.

I would say they are both worth buying. Both have really good soundtracks that I keep in my phone.
(available on youtube which means you don't have to buy)

It's pretty cheap bundle, I'd get both. Currently playing Transistor and enjoying it every minute.

I have beaten Bastion long time ago, though.

Played Bastion through twice and it was quite good. Just bought Transistor now so I'll update if I manage to finish it before the sale is over. :)

I would suggest Transistor first. I've been in your situation with that exact decision, and it's what I had to do. It's harder to find it on discount first of things and I like it more in gameplay and soundtrack.

If I had to choose one, Bastion.
I feel the story is ever so slightly better, I think the characters are fleshed out a little more, and you get a slight modicum of choice about the ending.
The gameplay is faster paced in Bastion, I didn't like how Transistor removed one of your skills if you lost all your health in combat, but the customization was better in Transistor.
I also like Bastion's soundtrack slightly better and Bastion's voice acting.
