Is it that time of the month yet?

I've waited for months for The Elder ScrollsĀ® Online: Tamriel Unlimitedā„¢. I'm paying early!
I've been disappointed in Humble Monthly Bundle lately I'm cancelling/pausing my subscription.
Oh well, I guess it's just another Monthly for me...
I'm on the fence with this one, maybe I'll decide later. Or I'll forget and they'll autocharge me.

wtf !! except shadow tactics... the other ones are... meh

Good bundle, especcially with Shadow Tactics and Silence, but how can they put up censored crap in a subscription bundle? In which case you can't change to another payment/VPN anymore. Noone wants these versions ..

Right, I was one of the few that wanted ESO. So, I was fine with the early unlock and played it a bit.
Then I remembered that today's the reveal. Aaaand, I wasn't expecting much because of the amount of games we already saw. But instead I got RE5, Shadow Tactics and Emily is Away Too.. so it's a win for me. I'll get the next month as well probably.

When it was first announced this was what they stated:

"A highly curated bundle of our favorite games at one fixed price. Includes everything from recent hits to hidden gems to timeless classics - every month. PC games delivered digitally to you in a monthly subscription bundle. Join for a new slate of games every month. Every bundle you get is yours to keep. Discover games that haven't been featured in other bundles."

That is no longer on their site though and the last line is obviously what you're keying in on. They've also re-bundled before, i.e. Sheltered, Banner Saga 1, and Town of Salem all in the Sept '16 bundle had all seen bundles before.

At the very least its not done often. DR2 had only been bundled once before (by them) in the highest tier of the bundle it had been in. RE5 had seen a bundle as well as the DLC, but DLC was high tier and the Gold Edition was never bundled. I think they do this if the budget for a particular month hits a certain point. I imagine that ESO/Quake cost a bit because Bethesda, and Shadow Tactics probably was not cheap either (the fact it never was a headliner is a surprise). I would bet they fill in the holes with keys leftover from past bundles or cheaper games (i.e. Emily) when a budget limit is reached.

I think they have been disingenuous in some respects, but this isn't a new development.

No, this is what their FAQ stated 2 years ago when they first started:
Q. Does "haven't been featured in other bundles" mean only never been in previous Humble Bundles? Or will games not have been bundled anywhere (including other bundle sites)?
We're trying our best to pick a good mix of some of our favorite classic games, and hot new games! Each month's Humble Monthly release will include a mix of games never before released in a Humble Bundle, and some of our favorite classics from previous bundles.

Good one for me, got at least 2 games I was wanting. Would have cost me more to buy them. Here's Quake Champions for someone who wants it. I think there might be regions restriction, but not sure. Enjoy! https://www.humblebundle.com/gift?key=Zrhku3s6ZSSxbsRu

I wanted ESO on Steam even tho I already owned it, so monthly was perfect time to buy it without spending too much money. Already owned DR2 from the Capcom bundle not soo long ago. RE5, Silence, West and Emily dont interest me but activated them anyway to feed my hoarding habits. Shadow tactics alone makes up for all the other dissapointments imo.

Yaaa, they didn't put any games that I was super interested in this time around! :D
(Ok, some of them look cute, but my backlog says that cute won't suffice nowadays.)

Now lets hope and wait for those games to be bundled at lower price ._.

Well, they can't all be winners.
At least I walked away with ESO and I am enjoying it.
The rest, I'll just giveaway next month.

Two re-bundles and a game that is soon to be free-to-play is ok by you? Alright then, it's your money.

I am sure the fact that they were negotiating with IGN well before they made a buyout announcement had nothing to do with this month's bundle. /s

RE5 and its dlc have been bundled separately before, so I (and a lot of people, judging by the reaction to this monthly) consider it poor practice.

Very glad I skipped this one. Shadow Tactics seems to be the standout for many people, but it doesn't interest me in the slightest. Lackluster reveal for next month, too. Oh well, a chance to catch up on the backlog.

As a fan of commandos, i think i saw this game as a suggestion on steam.
So i went to the store page and saw this review: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198018068929/recommended/418240/
I had to try the demo after it, and loved it! Not many games have demos either nowadays.

Resi 6 is only for German customers (as a substitute for Dead Rising 2, presumably because it's not available in that region.)

I had fun with this bundle.....

The money for the bundle was taken out of my account because I forgot to pause the week before end of month (Forgetting when its taken out)
When I saw this (a bit late i admit) I emailed saying that I wasn't 100% decided, but I was asking if it was possible to get a refund if I requested one. But at this stage was just asking so I could make a decision.
Decided overnight that I will keep the bundle because my dad may have interest in Elder Scrolls Online or maybe id evnetually get to it, but woke up to see they hadn't read my email correctly and had refunded me.
I requested for the refund to be cancelled or if I could resend the money for the bundle.
Then I see how good some of the unlocks were (Shadow Tactics looks amazing!).,
Then I received this:

Patrick (Customer Service)

Nov 7, 11:43 AM PST

Hello there,

Thank you for the update.

Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse a refund after it has been completed, and the November 2017 Monthly Bundle is no longer available for purchase. I apologize if this creates any disappointment, or otherwise inconveniences you.

I do hope we can make up to you with future Monthly Bundles! Please feel free to resubscribe when its next convenient for you.

Best wishes,

-Patrick

Sadface.........and a bit unfair, as I clearly said in my email I was asking if it was an option, not for them to go ahead and do it:(
