Gmod is weird/boring af and I hate it too, same goes for terraria. On the other hand, Don't Starve is awesome

I've got completely opposite opinion :(
Garry's Mod was a real fun when I played with friends few years ago. Sandbox games are sandbox. Do whatever you like. Terraria is also nice game, especially with friends. Adventurous in nature, unlike Minecraft. Don't Starve is a nice indie game which emphasizes survival, rather than creation in Minecraft or adventure in Terraria.

That's cause Garry's Mod is pretty bad when you think about it. Missing textures give serious headaches when that happens as well, makes it unplayable. However, I do disagree about Terraria, and haven't really played Don't Starve so it's meh. But Terraria, it's not the best game on Steam, sure, but it's not the worst by far. What about Bad Rats?

But there's a difference between a bad game and a game you don't like. Garrys mod and Don't Starve aren't objectively bad games, you just don't like them. Bad Rats, Ride to Hell Retribution, Gettysburg Armored Warfare, those are objectively bad games. As in they are literally broken and quantifiably bad in game design and execution.

How the fuck is Garry's Mod a shit game? There's fuckloads to do in it, even though most of the stuff is half finished or poorly implemented. There's FAR worse fucking games on Steam, mostly the absolute shit releases of games from the 90s, or remakes of the aforementioned shitty games.

I have to agree bobofatt. I bought it when it was under a different name. I was so upset that I almost put my foot through my computer screen. I wish that I could make it disappear just so I don't have to see it on my list. I don't even think you can give that game away...

Now last I heard, that wasn't even finished enough to be able to call it a 'game.' I believe a more appropriate term would be 'clusterfuck.'

I loved Starvoid, it's main problem is that no one plays it...

It's Shadow Harvest: Phantom Ops. Tried playing it a couple of days ago; the graphics are so dark that it's almost impossible to see anything, level layouts are absolutely awful, the AI is as dumb as hell and yet able to see precisely where you are at all times and the stealth sections have the most hilariously bad mechanics I've ever come across in a game.

So yeah, it's pretty darn bad.

Abysmal performance issues. This game is disgrace in terms of power requirements, and compare it to graphics offered it's an insane disaster. Other than that bland to the bone, boring, uninspiring.

Maybe not the worst game IMO, but I agree: it has potential but feels like crap.

Cortex Command is one of the best games.. If you download the right mods, you can triple the amount of items and levels, still with everything balanced, Unitech for example.. The game doesnt lag if you have a fast enough computer because it actually does have to load the whole entire level even when you are not in view of it. Also, there is another mod, Campaign of Carnage or something like that, which adds a sort of story, where your guys get stronger as you win, but when they die they are dead forever. They are adding Steam Workshop soon, hopefully that will get more people to use the amazing mods out there.

DayZ was free, is free and will be free. It's a mod. They never said that it's a full game. Look on dayzmod.com/ , it clearly states alpha. They are making standalone version, because what we've currently got is just a public test, how the game would work, with it's limitations due to Arma 2. For example, in Arma 2 there are no melee weapons, no NPCs (zombies), etc. Because of that, position of zombies are sent to every client on the server. But it gives me a question: why have you got killed after 5 minutes of playing? You were mindlessly running everywhere aggroing zombies? If you have purchased Arma 2 for DayZ and you had no idea of what this mod is, that's your fault. If you purchased Arma 2 for, you know, Arma 2, then you could just download DayZ to try it and uninstall if it doesn't suit your tastes.

Also remember they made War Inc Battlezone. Would have been a good game but they dumped it for I:SS and now nothing but hackers.

It's short but it was COMPLETELY worth it IMO. It came with Gravity Bone and that was so good! Told a better story in 15mins than any FPS nowdays

Shadowrun Returns is only bad if you picked it up expecting a Deus Ex 4.
It has its flaws, but I do like it.

I wanted, bought, and played the game, and I enjoyed it. Not only that, I'm looking forward to all the user-based stories/mods that will be sure to follow over the next some-odd years. Perhaps part of all this is that I actually knew what to expect and my expectations were met. It's rather obvious that yours were not, hence why you didn't like it.

Each to their own, I enjoy Faerie Solitaire (but then again I enjoy card games in general). I can also see why people don't like it :p
