For now, you can disable the automatic disabling of addons if they haven't been 'verified' by mozilla by entering
about:config
into your address bar, then search for
xpinstall.signatures.required
and set/toggle it to false.
However mozilla plans to remove this possibility in the near future. And I plan to remove firefox from my computer^^.
I'm already 90% of the time on Chrome now. Way to ruin a company/good browser (this is of course not the only thing they failed with recently, but they're finally killing off the last advantage they had over their competitors (good addons) which basically nails the coffin.

Thanks, I'll look into it. I find it (Enhanced Steam) to be a valuable tool and was getting withdrawal symptoms already. If I couldn't get it to work on FF at all, it might finally get me to switch to Chrome as my main browser which I currently use as my secondary. No real reason why I'm still on FF, just set in my ways :p
