Will the 'final' version of Path of Exile be F2P or not?
I added it on my wishlist so I suppose we'll have to buy it (don't get me wrong, I didn't say it was a bad thing)...

There's plenty of Free to Play games that are decent, some are even Great. Heard of Cave Story? Free. Spelunky? Free. La-Mulana? Free. Nitronic Rush? Free... I will admit there seems to be a lack of many good FTP MMOs, however there are still some that are enjoyable, and at least this ones not just some generic point and grind adventure.

To play the devil's advocate, those games would be classified as freeware, not F2P, a term used for a particular "Play and then buy content" structure that most "free" MMOs use.

Interesting trick, I tried with "Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition", which isn't available in my region, and it worked! ^_^
But the question is, can you buy a game not available in your region using this trick?

Just an update:
Played this for 2 hours last night. Its a decent game. Does remind me alot of Diablo series (in a good way)

One thing I want to point out which was different. The Skill tree is Passive. Which means it gives you more bonus.
THe way the skills work in this game is ... You get gems. And pretty much all Weapons and armor have slots. YOu fill the armor with these gems.
THe Gems = skills.
THe more you use them the higher level they get.
What happens when the armor is junk? And what happens to the gems in them?

The gems can simply "right click to remove" .. they retain their skill and level and you are free to put them in other items.

Really impressed by this. I do recommend this game to others to try.

I play and enjoy PoE but I think the problem with it is that it takes some time before it 'picks up the pace', before you get enough gems and items with linked sockets to play around with some combinations. I'm afraid some people who will try the game for only couple hours may not even get to the 'fun part' of PoE :(

Nope, they really wont.
This game requires and rewards patience.
Once you get to a higher level and use your P.Skill points properly, you'll have some mad fun steamrolling hordes of enemies.

The gem link feature is amazing, especially with triggering abilities in certain situations.

Edit: And by the way, this is also the reason you see utterly stupid shit in the chat. I hope the flood of Ritalin pumped ADHD kids will stop soon.

I played for almost 1 hour and it's really fun and good gameplay.
