The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition - Steam version now updatable!

Hey everyone

as we all know there is an Enhanced Edition available for TW2. All people who have already bought the game get the new content and fixes FOR FREE. And now the upgrade is also available for the people who have the game on Steam (just like me). Just wanted to inform you that you can download the 11GB-update now via Steam.

no joke. There are about 4h of new content, new cinematics, kind of a complete overhaul. Haven't tried it yet, though. I only have 230kb/s down so it will be a loooong time until the update will be completely downloaded.

Hey, what a nice detail form CDprojekt. Not like crapcom and UMvC3... anyways i haven't buy the game, is it good? should i buy it?

You can register TW2 on GOG to have a DRM-free backup if you'd like.

Tried updating and it said one of the patch files was corrupt. Aborted the patch and now my game won't even start up.

Time to re-download the WHOLE THING.

Try verifying your cache files / redownload game. Sound like a file consistency issue.
