Is Awesomenauts a good game?

Yes, it's one of those games I like to play just for fun, you don't rage when you loose and you don't waste as much time as with other MOBA games (mostly) and the game's not freaking destroyed when someone disconnects.

With friends yes !

Yes! I usually don't like MOBAs, but this game is different. Unlike other MOBAs i play with my friends, i actually have FUN while playing this. Even if you don't like MOBAs give a shot! i ended up loving this game and play whenever i have nothing to. And if you like MOBAs, get it! My friends who play LoL and DOTA 2 all the time love this game just as much as i do.

But this is just my opinion so yea...just get it. Paying 2.50$ won't be too much of a loss if you don't like it.

It's also surprisingly has an awesome soundtrack as well. (Well IMO anyway..)

Haven't played Awesomenauts, but Psychonauts is incredible. I have no idea why I waited so long to play it - wonderful, wonderful game!

I want to say no, but I think the only reason I didn't like it is because it's not my type of game. I guess on a purely technical standpoint it's a fairly solid game and would probably be enjoyable if it's the kind of game you like to play.

It's cheap and excellent, don't listen to the haters that think it's "too casual" to be a real MOBA. It's easy to get into, with virtually no learning curve, and it's fun. It like a 2d side scroll MOBA with essentially 2 lanes, only 3 vs 3, games are drop in/drop out with bots filling in spots so they are always running and people can start and stop whenever they want. The item shop is very basic and quick to use. All characters are unlocked via play, and the only DLC is cosmetic costumes (same as dota 2, etc.) so play is always balanced no matter who is joining the match at the time.

honestly, i play like two games and stop playing. then i come back play a game. its really casual. but its kinda fun once u get over the learning curve. it not hardcore moba. its like kiddy softcore moba.

Really depends.
As people noted: it's a casual moba, nothing as serious as LoL, Dota or the like.
The learning curve is low and there aren't 100s of items or heroes.

At the moment people hate the leaderboards and matchmaking (though mainly problematic on the higher end of the leaderboards)
If it's 75% off again sometime, I recommend getting it. It's not a lot of money and even if you just get a few hours of gameplay, it's better value then most AAA games. (purely looking at price vs gameplay time)

It's not bad.

It's really cool game. Something new to MOBA and much better than Dota, LoL or any other game like that. It's a lot of fun playing with friends in splitscreen too.
