I know my interpretation of psychedelic isn't quite in line with what other people understand it as, but for me it normally means sensory overload of neon colors and I remembered a few games in that style that I like and haven't seen mentioned yet:
Waves
Intake
Scoregasm
Chromadrome 2

N2O on Playstation (legal here: Steam). This is also somewhat historically amusing as
1) it is Tony Crowther's take on Tempest,
2) Tempest has always been the "home turf" of Jeff Minter
3) it is arguably more psychedelic than Jeff's interpretations of Tempest which, to me at least, mostly look seizure inducing
4) Jeff Minter used to be quite rude about Tony Crowther back in the eighties (with Crowther representing 80s pop and commercialism to Minter flying the flag for leftfield software and psychedelic rock).

Well I found this amusing. You had to be there I guess. ;-)
Also, any games by Rail Slave Games although I have to say I (along with most people) otherwise find them very poor.
