Hello,
I'm a bit annoyed, cause I created some giveaways, and everybody get his / her won Key.
Nearly Everybody said thanks, but one of them never gave me Feedback.
Its 5 Days Ago that the giveaway ended, and i sent Key within 12 hours afters it ended, but dont get any Feedback of this Guy.
I c that he is active on Steam, cause everyday I am looking here, i can see that he was online some hours ago.
Thats really annoying..
[Edit]
Oh yeah I should say, that I sent two Emails until now, and left a Comment on his Steam Profil and invited him to my giveaway Group, cause I dont want to invite as Friend everybody who won any giveaway.
[/Edit]

I have got a little Suggestion for this problem.
How about this:
If you won a giveaway, and you dont give Feedback within 3 days, this Account is blocked for every giveaway action, until you gave Feedback for the won giveaway.
You cant create or join any giveaway until you gave the missing Feedback after this 3 days of waiting time.
So perhaps people would give Feedback for giveaways they won.

I think you should wait a bit longer. Maybe till 7 days? Then try contacting the winner again.

Well, they have up to 7 days to redeem/leave feedback I'm pretty sure. Give it a bit more time, and if still nothing you may want to create a ticket.

Has he redeemed the game?

There is a chance the key may have ended up in his junk folder...

Why not add him on Steam and talk it through?

[EDIT] I see your edit, but you do realise you can remove him as a friend once you've resolved the issue, right?

Steamgifts currently allows 7 days for (i) the gift to change hands and (ii) feedback to be given. With time differences and life in general, it would be unreasonable IMHO to reduce this much further. In future, you may want to consider befriending your winners and giving them the key via Steam chat, so you know nothing has gone awry.

Anyway, hope things work out for you :)

If he didn't activate it after 5 days, he's probably trying to trade it off or give it to a friend. Best to add them and confront them about it. I had to do that, and if I didn't it would have ended badly.

^ This.

Take screenshots of the game in your and his inventory before he can pass it off and then claim he "never received it." Your inventory should show you've sent the game, his should show he received it.

I'm against your suggestion.

What if the giveaway creator marked the gift as sent, without ever sending anything?
Or maybe the giveaway creator sent an invalid key - should a winner be suspended for this?

I often have to make people wait 5 days before I click 'received' purely because I can't activate they key due to being away from home for that period. Even right now I have a key that needs activating but I know I cannot until friday. Because of this I am against your idea.
Be patient and see what happened is my advice.
