no, no set number to enter before a payoff, no way to increase odds. its random
your very first entry into a 1:1000 odds givaway could pay off or your 100th entry into a 1:10 still may not have. odds aren't cumulative

the only things you could do would be givaway games to increase your donor amount so you can enter the givaways restricted by donor amount. or to join a private giveaway group

I won my first giveaway at 400 entries/200 comments. Like they say, be more active. Comment, join the forums, join groups.

Im with you on that 25000 one. Ive also been in around 10 private giveaways with an average of around 20 people per giveaway, and still nothing. That was disappointing, but as they've said, total randomness, but contributing can get you into better giveaways, but even then, you have to contribute a lot, a lot!, to get in the few giveaways that have under like 100 people and even then, you need a lot of random luck.

Just keep entering. In the long run, your total wins should approximate to the estimated wins, unless you have very bad luck.

I won the first giveaway after 150 entries . but now it is at least once a week.

Increase I guess to enter giveaways with a small amount of people or keep entering every giveaway you want until you will win and you will.

Edit: just checked your profile and congratz for winning, as every one said keep entering and you will win.

I feel bad now, since I had 1 comment with 224 entered and 2 won. (1 was from the 25k giveaway)
Although it is random, so you could potentially never win anything. Or you could win the next 10!
I suppose you could increase your chances by going for the less popular giveaways with very short entry times. Other than that, just keep trying!

I just seen Titan Quest entry for 15pts. 2 copies any less than 400 entries, so that's a 1:200 chance of a win. Pretty good compared to most odds, just a shame I'm out of pts :(

I didn't even win my first giveaway till around 2450 entries, and it was the galactic arms race developer giveaway.

I won my 1st game at 90 entries, and the 2nd and 3rd one around the 1k count in the same day galactic arms race dev giveaway ended.

It's up to your own luck, some like dracoman18 had a long run of bad luck and some are more lucky than most.
