Understandable... For some reason Amazon.com didn't have steam blocked, among other things that were useful when I was bored. Of course amazon wouldn't block their own website, so I read on the kindle cloud web page. I don't have as much down time anymore now (those damn promotions).

Yes, I work at amazon, but I work at a warehouse/shipping facility. I can't speak on behalf of customer service. However most other companies will offer you the sale price if you bought it within a certain time frame. Give them a call, it won't hurt to ask, and besides we are always trying to win over the customers.
