I find it interesting that the r/Gamedeals doesn't allow links to Steamgifts.
They say "It links to or promotes a website listing unauthorized key resellers, which are disallowed in this subreddit."
I contacted the mods of the subreddit but not sure that will help.

Update: It was because in the past there were links to HRK and DIG and other grey market key seller sites. 🤷‍♂️

Update 2: r/Gamedeals now allows linking to Steamgfits. The mods checked into me saying that Steamgifts does not promote grey market site. So they are now allowing links again.

Just found it amusing that a gaming subreddit thinks Steamgifts promotes grey market sites. I was trying to show that the new groupees seems to be using grey market sites to get their keys for the new bundles. Wanted to link to discussion here with the replies. Meh.

I remember asking a question out of genuine curiosity only to be lambasted by schizophrenics who thought I was "concerned trolling" and "kink shaming" etc, just all round arguing in bad faith and taking the original question out of context, then seeing a post later on by another user that SG should add a upvote/downvote just like reddit from other "bad faith" posters on the forums, which occurs rarely.

While I agree'd initially with that notion, I've then had time dwell upon that thought and honestly, the reddification of platforms is the worst possible outcome. The discussions here are more useful, helpful and genuine compared to reddit and adding upvotes could lead to manipulation of public opinion. Just take a look at the opinion polls that get posted here which are only designed to farm hate and the most closest feature to farming reddit karma in a roundabout way.

Taking a look at steam, after adding the reddit gold awards that are bought by steam points, Reviews, guides for games and comments on forums have gone down the shitter and people care more about getting internet brownie points rather than have open minded discussion, a shame really.

Edit: After making this post, I earned my first ever blacklist. nice!

Right? Lots more "trying to make a joke to get recognition" then just not commenting at all. I hate the dumb guides that are one sentence and basically just begging for points.
