Don't claim all DLCs right now, imho. Disable them in Ark game menus, before downloading game. They are different expansion maps, but you will only need base map or one of your choice. Last released one is Fjordur - ARK Expansion Map
So for a start, to try game, it only asks for 126Go of your hard disk...

You can choose not to install the DLCs by going to your steam library, right clicking Ark: Survival Evolved, click Properties, go to DLC, and unchecking any DLCs.

There seem to be paid DLC that can only be bought in one of two Steam bundles like this one - Is that right? Guess that's what they're really trying to sell here.

Thanks for the heads up though - I've had mild interest in this game for years. I say mild because open world survival craft rarely keeps me engaged for long.

I've wanted to play this game, but when it launched was such a mess. I couldn't play it with my wife. I am glad to see it come for free.

What about the paid DLC, is it any good/worth it? Its all on sale, but i see 2 season passes and 3 or 4 dlc... is the individual dlcs part of the first season pass? Is the second season pass for upcoming stuff (if any)?
