Not 100% sure if this fits the criteria because I haven't seen it in a while I think it's the other way around girl loves the boy but this is pretty funny romance.

One you may like is Toradora. Boy likes a girl, gets a friend of said girl to help. Fits the Romance/Comedy category.

It was mostly funny but kinda short.

I's (manga) could be in your criteria I think (although in anime it had only a short OVAs named I's Pure).

And if you are interested also in Kdramas, you have "Personal taste", "Secret garden" (both romance/comedy) and "Sorry I Love You" (drama/romance).

skipped the really obvious ones like toradora, maid sama and as for 'the boy secretly loves a girl, but the girl doesn't love her back or doesn't know' animes, i think golden times first few episodes, Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou and Fruits Basket meets the req

I'm not sure, i watched them a long time ago.
But with that description, i think i can only remember two one two animes that weren't recommended yet:
Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou took too long to think/write and it got recommended :p

EDIT: Remembered of Plastic Memories, it seems to match the description too.

This one time, on Netflix, I stumbled into trying: Rosario + Vampire.
There's bigger secrets to kept than who loves who, but I sure thought it fit romance/comedy.

I do not really think it matches your criteria but Lovely Complex is a great romance comedy :)
