Here are two VNs that I have played that I have really, really liked!
You should be aware that there is NO gameplay at all, just clicking "next" when you are done reading what is on the screen. They both have Achievements and cards if either of those interest you.
They are Over The Hills And Far Away and Winter Novel. I enjoyed both of them very much, and I highly recommend them!!:)

I'm curious about visual novels, but the couple I have tried have been sickly-sweet dating games. Could anyone recommend a few visual novels for me to try please? I'm looking at hopefully short, easy, fun games that show me the different types of visual novels - the most simple story-only ones, to ones with some kind of decision making, to any other interesting types. Thanks!
