no,you will get around 20~40 but if you have any overclock software, overclock your GPU and you might can run it more than that.I can say that in fire fights you might get 20+ FPS after you overclocked your GPU cause based on my friend experience on his laptop which is about same as yours,he can run it well though..so just give it a try

My previous PC was very similar, albeit with a bit of AMD hardware, and the game was not impressive at all. You'll probably get an acceptable framerate on the lower settings, but it's a Ubisoft PC port, so even that can be seen as a generous estimate. They tend to be more and more poorly optimized lately.

I have a laptop with a GT 630M, 2.3 Ghz processor and 8 GBs of RAM. I can run it on lowest settings with textures on high and a lowered resolution of 1280x720 and it runs at 40-60 FPS.

I played Far Cry 3 on Ultra, all maxed out on 45-50 FPS stable on Core2Quad Q9300 with NVidia 285GTX & 8 Gb RAM despite what System Requirements Lab said :))
You're safe.

I was able to run it on an old Phenom 2 triple core with a Radeon x1650 at 1280x1024 without any major problems, you'll be fine.

What about me? :P

RAM: 8GB
Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU @ 2.67GHz
Graphics card: Radeon HD6450 1GB DDR3
Runs on 64-bit Windows 7

Like OP, I don't care for graphics, as long as I can play it.

No, really. I have 4GB Ram, 2core 3,4GHz AMD processor and 1GB RAdeon HD 6670 VGA, everything set on low, 85 FOV, 1600x900, and irun smooothly at 40-50 fps, game is very well optimized, but mostly, the artstyle of the foliage is designed in a way, that does not require a lot of computing power

Nice, good to know. I really want that game but I never knew if my computer could run it, as it looks pretty demanding. Thanks for the info! ^_^

I have played (and i have walkthrough it all) Far Cry 3 on s478 P4 @ 4.1 Ghz + HD3850 AGP (and 4670 AGP too). It was playable, but the bottleneck was CPU (even with HT and overclock it is really not enough for this game, mostly because of physics).

It will run at a decent framerate, only if you set your graphics options on low. I played the game 3 times like that and it worked just fine. ( My video card is not as powerful as yours btw ).

I played it just fine on medium/high with postfx on low @ 720p when I had an e5200 and hd4850. The GT640 is better than the HD4850 and your i5-3330 shits on the e5200.

I played it recently with my x3220 and gtx560. There's not much of a difference between medium and high IMO. Even ultra looks almost the same as medium. Low is horrible though.

You can run it on medium, or even high.
Your computer is much better than mine, and I ran it on Medium without any lags/fps problems.

You could definitely run it. I'm running the game on low, 640x480, and I'm getting a solid 25 fps in singleplayer, except when there's fire or whatever. Game still looks great, even with the jagged edges and whatever, so don't worry about it too much.

Considering that I'm using a 2.2ghz Core 2, 4GB RAM, and a 240M, you'll definitely be able to run the game, no problems.

Uplay + Steam is a bitch though, and multiplayer is actually more dead than Far Cry 2's multiplayer due to no server browser.
