Games you already own:
Gal*Gun: Double Peace - hey, just coz you're giving away the sequel doesn't mean I won't recommend the best one. It's a really good rail shooter. Very lighthearted and funny. Has a surprisingly huge amount of stuff to do in it- a whole VN's worth of story with different story routes, hunting down "collectibles" (aka filling out the data for all the "enemies" in it, all of which are unique characters), etc;
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1, Re;Birth3 and Megadimension Neptunia are all really really good and funny. (Re;Birth2 sucks, lol) Some of the spin-offs (such as Cyberdimension Neptunia) are pretty good too.
GOD EATER 2 Rage Burst (and the other ones are probably good too) - like Monster Hunter, but even more anime. Has some pretty cool mechanics. Also has a lot of options for dressing up your character.
Root Double - the one single VN-only VN I've played... honestly, wouldn't say I'm all that much of a (pure) VN fan but it's pretty ok. Has a good action plot which turns into a mystery plot going on.
Games you don't own:
Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force - it's basically like if Hyperdimension Neptunia was ever so sliiighly more serious (more standard-ish fantasy-ish setting and with gasp some male characters). Still super funny most of the time.
Someone else already mentioned CrossCode but I'm morally obligated to give it a shout too - not strictly anime but more like anime-adjacent. It's really really really good. It's like the perfect mix of great story, great characters, great combat, great puzzles, great exploration and great everything. :D
All the Yakuza games (I've played Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2)- gritty crime drama main story; goofy over-the-top insanity everything else.
Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale - the best shop management simulator (with also dungeon diving for stuff to sell in said shop). Very lighthearted and funny. Also Chantelise, it's spiritual predescessor which is all action-RPG dungeon diving but with the same style of humor and the most fun fishing minigame ever.
Devil May Cry 4, 3 and 5 (I played them in that order) (also DMC 1 is probably pretty good too; 2 and the shitty western reboot- which is the only one you have- suck, lol). Best. Action. Games. 100% Awesome.
Valkyria Chronicles - it's kinda like a softer XCOM but with an anime WW2-ish setting.
Rabi-Ribi - a Metroidvania/Platformer/Bullet Hell hybrid which I'd call the best Metroidvania I've ever played. If that description didn't make it clear, it's a pretty challenging game. ^_^'
AKIBA'S TRIP - Yakuza, but even goofier somehow. And without the Yakuza. Lemme just summarize the opening of this game's plot- there's an evil cabal of vampires which are trying to take over Akihabara or something and their only weakness is sunlight. But they are protected from it if they wear any clothing. So in order to beat them, you have to either strip them or destroy their clothes until they're down to their undies and they burn in the sun. And that is how you get a combat system based around stripping the enemies of their clothes, lol. Lots of goofy insanity ensues, obviously.
VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action - a game about mixing drinks while having conversations with a lot of cool and interesting characters in a cyberpunk setting.
99 Spirits - this game might actually be too Japanese, lol. Ahem, it's about a sort of Japanese mythical creature called a Tsukumogami which is basically a possessed object. The main gimmick of the game is that you can't damage these creatures until you identify what object they are (by typing it in) and you need to deduce that by examining them and putting the clues together.
I should probably stop now. ^_^'

If you're willing to emulate or have a console, would recommand Vanillaware's 13 Sentinels.

I can recommend Steins;Gate (for me, this is one of the best VN), series of Higurashi and Tales of Berseria (and other "Tales of" games, though. But I can only confirm for Berseria).
Btw, thanks for anime train

honestly any of the VN's from key are a good bet... just get tissues, odds are they will make you cry.
the super bundle of the VN's
I need to rewatch Steins Gate, I just dread the first 10 or so episodes because its sooo slow.

Have you checked "Chrono Trigger"? While It may not be considered an Anime Game, the character designs were made by Toriyama time ago.

Steins gate is very good, it just takes a while to get going... like 10ish episodes, but once it gets going its likely to hook people(I almost dropped it back in the day.. I only pushed on because it was so highly rated on MAL as I wasn't seeing what others saw so I assumed(and correctly) that it was further into the series.

Bump for solved!
As for anime game rec, I'm currently enjoying NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD. The game instantly caught my attention after a friend shared the soundtrack INTERNET OVERDOSE from the game.

Some games that I like but isn't recommended yet: WitchSpring R, and Zoeti.
This is a really old trilogy, that I forget its name (thank Wikipedia for its long list of RPG Maker games): Alpha Kimori. It came out when I was in college, one of my favorites. Only the first one is available on Steam, you can find the complete trilogy on its developer's website.
Why searching for that old trilogy, I came into these games, that look quite interesting: AZNANA, Decarnation, LiEat, and Raisond'etre.

Steam is a great platform where you can find a lot of things.
Do you have any "Anime/Japanese Game" recommendations for me?
I would also be happy about hidden gems that are not so well known.
