Resident Evil 2: The Board Game

With Resident Evil 2: REmake releasing early next year I've been excitedly looking into other Resident Evil news. Having no experience with either Kickstarter or tabletop games I found a Resident Evil 2: The Board Game Campaign that shattered the roof of the funding goals. Now as I mentioned I have browsed Kickstarter before but have never used it and had no idea about this project until way after the backing period ended. It seems Steamforged Games has a bit of Backer wounds over Dark Souls: The Board Game but I have to admit I don't know anything about it.

With all that said, IGN (I know - 10/10 would IGN again, right?) recently reviewed it at Gen Con 2018 and I personally think the figures and game play look fantastic. Is anyone else excited about this upcoming game? :)

Yes, I'm a Backer/Superbacker.
I'm not a Backer but am excited to get a copy after release.
I play tabletop games but have no interest in this one.
I don't play tabletop games.

I'd not heard of it until now, but I do enjoy board games so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it.
