I'm on lookout for new graphics card for my computer. Looking for some affordable ones, that could still run some of the new games (e.x Torchlight 2). Somewhere around 100€ (121$) would be nice price. But yeah, could use help selecting one. Thanks.

Current graphics card: NVidia GeForce 405.

System specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 (64-bit) - Processor: Pentium(R) Dual Core CPU E5800 @3.2 GHZ - Installed RAM-memory: 4,00 gb.

HD 6770... But if you go higher then go with a HD 6870 or a GTX 560ti

GTX 260 is still really good and does not cost much. I still have one and can run Skyrim and such with ease. I imagine trying to do The Witcher 2 on max would be an issue though.

I have similiar one, GTX 285 and I can run BF3 on High with 40-45 FPS average.
Witcher 2 didn't make any problems at all.

Torchlight would not make any either, I assume.

Check the gtx 550ti, it's right on your price range.

Right here. Hands down. EVGA has the best customer service and warranty in the industry.

However, you need to keep an eye on your PSU output. You need a good amount of wattage and amperes on your +12v to power a newer GPU.

Make sure your CPU isn't crap, because a new GPU may not help any. :)

AND CHECK YOUR CPU!

I ve got GTX 285 and i am able to run The Witcher 2 and Metro2033 (they were told to be real hardware testers :D) on high. Most of other games run on ultra with no problems :)

Many other factors you need to specify to help us recommend you what's best for your system. Pairing a newer GPU with an ancient CPU would not net you much additional performance. So list your other system specs(include CPU and power supply so we can be sure that you wouldn't be maxing out your PSU), what resolution do you play at as well.

I bought a 6870 for 124€ last week, thats probably the best value/money. I would try to get a 6850 that can be unlocked to a 6870 - but I heared these are really rare these days.
The Radeon HD 7770 is a little bit cheaper and slower.
