What you wrote would be right, if the number of GA's (for one and the same game) and the people (participating for that game) would be EQUAL, and thats not the case here. You need to improve your math a bit, try to start with the basics please...

That and people with only bundle games to give now can raise their CV with them beyond $30. Personally, my CV from bundle games dropped drastically. (I lost over $500 worth of CV under the new system)

The issue of which you speak has more to do with point regeneration rather than point cap. Points are currently regenerating very quickly. Perhaps, as someone mentioned, it's because everyone was stockpiling games to giveaway while the site was down (unless the point generation algorithm has changed).
Also, please don't feel the need to use all of your points, especially if it means entering for games you don't want. That's just greedy and takes away an opportunity for someone who genuinely wants the game.

Also SGv2 rewards bundled games a lot more. I could imagine a fair amount of the faster point 'regeneration' is due to the fact that people give away even more bundled games here.

+1 for that, could not explain that better myself! Running at 300 points almost all the time, because there are almost no games i am interested in or just some i would not rly play now. Dont want to herd anything for "later" because "later" can turn to "never" rly fast :)

I LOVE that now you can have it only show you GA's for things that are on your wishlist. Makes it easier to enter things I'd love to have and ignore things I don't care about.

Yep, the point-generation is a very high at the moment. i would give SG 2 weeks to 1 month, the "new sg, stocked bundles have to go"-train should be over then and the generation is back to normal. If not i think the regeneration should be lower, not the cap :)

Totally wrong, the point system was already changed back in SG1. It's all fine with it, if you enter a 20p GA and log off, it's for sure maybe that you came back with 300p?. Additionally SG2 just came out everything is hyped now, you have to wait to say something like that.

I have only 59 filtered giveaways and enough point to enter 24 of them. There arent too many points... I suppose most guys don't enter every crappy giveaway.

This will never be implemented. SG was made with the idea that everyone who enters a giveaway should have the same chance of winning, multiple entries would destroy this.

Its funny how many people don’t under stand this. Lets make it as simplistic as possible-there are 10 raffles for 10 different items. if every child is given 7 tickets, but they can only enter each raffle once. If a child who really wants 3 items entered them and then uses the other 4 on things he could care less about or only kinda wanted. This makes it so he or she has a chance of winning something they didn’t want and another person losing something they really wanted. if they made it so you could enter more then once then it would change everything, but you cant. so your odd of winning anything go down.

i have 4 other banned accounts, Its a broken system. Got banned for hacking portal 1 and lost all my tf2 stuff. Well trying to find out why I was banned, I learned how to bypass the vac system and you can make a new account in about 3 minutes, then hack for about a week if your good, then make a new account. Whats your point?

to bypass you change your account number, then your playing with a random person's account and all their inventory items. you do need 2 programs to do this. you can also use severs set up so that when you make a new account you can get every single item you get by getting achievements, but i don’t think they work anymore :(. I do find it ever so funny how you change the subject tho, butthurt that I called you brain dead and you realized how dimwitted you had been. so you try and find something to call me out on, then realizing I don’t give a fuck, it in no way stops me from playing. and tf2 is free, soooo....

I do wish they added a link on each giveaway page to view the game on Steam. Sure we can google search it on an extra tab but people would be more likely to click and review if the link was right there.

I feel like Im getting so many points every time I log on, that I just enter everything. I just kinda look at the picture and then dump points into it if it looks interesting. If everybody had 50% less point then I feel like people would care more about how they spent them and you would have more of a chance to get stuff you wanted. This is just for people who don’t give anything, this would be, as of now but in the future I would love to give back.
