Is it tradable? If it is and you actually can activate it there's no risk. Well, the biggest risk would be having it removed, but that's not much.

I think not, and why should you (unless it's region blocked and you are using a proxy to activate it)? Also the pricing mistake was on Steam's side so again it's not your problem. :)

I advise you either contact Steam support or write in Steam's forums hoping a moderator/Valve employee will come by, just to be on the safe side.

But I suggest you to "yarr!" this game, because of hardware-based DRM.

I activated mine. I don't think steam will ban you, since it was its own mistake.
