I think I've figured out the first bit at least. But it leads to an old public GA from a guy that's not even a part of this event. :P So I might be mistaken and the code is for something else. Did anyone else reach an old public GA?
If my theories are correct, we have to share some information, we only have a small part of the puzzle each, but I don't want to go into too many details yet (especially as I'm a puzzle maker myself, but I can promise you that I've seen nothing of this event, except for my own puzzles and a glimpse at 1½ of Morshocks when he asked for advice).

I've allowed the Puzzlemakers to join if they're willing under specific conditions that they have to abide to.
This was done so that they could feel the same suffering they will be causing and they will aslo enjoy the event too.
The rules are in place to make sure they can't abuse the knowledge about their puzzles and finish the even faster than normal.
So don't worry about them joining, instead you should see them as a powerful allies ^^

Knowing you and your puzzles I think we tried the same thing with the barcode. Got me to a Death to Spies: Gold giveaway which seems like a dead end.

You get a ticket. Your ticket has a number, a placement (section, row, seat) and a bar code.
My section is A, there may be some link to the "A" question in the entry ITH? Row refers to "order/place of the character in the answer" and the seat is the actual character? We might need to share our ticket's details. Nope, probably something else, we still might keep track of it though, maybe a shared google spreadsheet. I'm going to bed soon, so I will probably not be able to do it alone, thus a google doc where everyone can contribute.

After catching up with the news I decided to edit this post a little bit with the last useful info, since it seems it's still getting a bit of attention even if outdated. So:
- The barcode in your ticket hides an expired GA code made of 5 characters. It doesn't read like a normal barcode, it's more like a way to represent binary code. To decode it, help yourself with this useful mask to put over your ticket made by Nordhbane and follow these instructions;
- malabagaa and lmxn made useful google spreadsheets to help gathering and keeping track of all ticket's info:
- You can keep posting your ticket's info as an answer to this post or in the main thread, just keep posting it so we can keep collecting it.
- What about the expired GA links? It seems that "row" and "seat" in our tickets refer to a precise character in the title of the game given away. "Row" refers to a word and "seat" is a character in that word. For example, my ticket leads to a "Nightmares from the Deep 3: Davy Jones" GA. My row is 5 (fifth word in the title) and my seat is 1 (first character of the fifth word), so the character that interest us is "3". After we have gathered enough we'll probably get some kind of code.

Include the barcode in your posts. Barcode is important.
Here's how to convert the barcode to GA code: treat the barcode as binary (0 - white, 1 - black), and pad either end with a few zeroes as needed to get a giveaway code. 8 characters in binary forms a character, and each 8 character block will always start with 0 for alphanumeric characters - i.e. you need 40 0s and 1s in total. Convert that to acsii using a converter like this.
Check here or here (courtesy of malabagaa) to see if your ticket has been revealed already.

Mine is 21, so that "I" might be actually a "1" (damnit lol). This means that I'm probably wrong, it might be a matrix Section(row,seat) where we have to assemble our indivual barcodes into one.

Not necessarily (or at least not entirely :) . My working theory is that each barcode represents a single character. Each section consists of a few words, each on its own row. The seat number would be the position (index) in the word of the character from the barcode.
The admission number is probably just a counter.

So, after unsuccessfully attempting to decode the barcode, I found some things. It seems the it is of type linear, but I think the barcode for each row is cut up in pieces and put on the tickets that we have. Each piece is ordered by the seat number. After we combine all barcode pieces for a given row, we should have a barcode that can be properly decoded. So, please edit your posts to include your tickets (or at least the part with the barcode), because without them, we won't be able to progress any further.

Decoded your barcode and got to another ended public giveaway (and Nordh also got something similar) So my theory now is that each ticket will lead to a "random" old public giveaway, and each row/seat will have something in common for all their giveaways (same creator, same game, same first character of giveaway code, etc.)

Looking at the GA I found at the moment the name of the game always have the number of words than the row inscribed on the ticket. And the Seat could be the char to pick in the word corresponding to the row number.

You have more words than row numbers here but you can still pick the second letter of the first word. B here. For the barcode I've decoded I only have numbers and letters abcdf. Hex code?

My theory. Section is which code it belong to. Row is the word in the GA name. Seat is the letter in that word. So Domazo would give us "B".
Also, just saw your ticket, it would give us "d"

Tried too and have the same problem. Maybe it's due to the fact that tickets are limited and when you take one that has already been taken it delete it from the previous possessor! That would be sad but maybe it would also allow to take a new one when someone took yours!

Bahaha, I didn't even notice that. In case you didn't notice from the rune ITH puzzle, I overlook obvious clues and easy things. Having a busy home life doesn't leave as much time for puzzles as I'd like, so I go through and assume way too much or overcomplicate things, often causing myself to waste lots of time. As ercalote said you can share it. However if you want to share it, we would like to ask you to share how you managed to find it too, so that new challenger will understand what they have to do.
What I meant by that rule is that after solving most of the ITH there will be links to the next stage. Those can't be shared for any reason unless is specified by the Puzzle's Creator.
As far as the "any answer" part goes : ITH Puzzle are dived in "Public" and "Individual", in this event most of the "Individual" ITH will still be used for the Group Puzzle so you're not allowed to share answers.
If you have any other question feel free to ask.
P.s. In every stage is written if the Puzzle is Individual or a Group one. So even if you don't see an ITH Group Puzzle don't worry it's probably still a Group Puzzle.

It seems with the admissions we have at the moment that each section will have 32 differents tickets. And there is also a typo on the ITH who's call Rabiit and not Rabbit. Don't know if it can help but maybe the typo has been made on purpose.
