question about steam profile.

Hi people..

I saw a few profiles already with a long custom text under the profile.. Been trying to do something like that but witout success.
I only can write some text on info space, but after that appears recently played games and can't put more text than that.
I upleaded a picture for you to see what i mean.

It's a showcase. You got one every ten levels

Those are called Showcases, and you unlock one for every 10 Steam levels you gain. To get them, collect a full set of cards (this will require purchasing on the Steam market) and craft them for a badge. After you have enough badges, you get a Showcase.

That is the more expensive method, unless they are relying on dozens of bundles, and even then, it gets to be too many for a level after a while.

and the xp gained from each game changes depending on game collector badge level ranging from 5 xp to 0.75

i always thought it was a flat 1 XP per game with a 250XP badge base

nope. I think for 10+ it's 3.33. so every 3 game until 25 gives 10 xp

The first game is worth 100 EXP, but scales down to 1 EXP per game after a while. You only get an extra 250 EXP more than your games by the time you have a decent number.

you need 343 XP to go up to level 10, which means either 343 games or 4 badges

get some bundles with games that have trading cards :) you get a win-win in both scenarios! http://indiegala.com/weekly is a bundle where 4 of the 5 steam games has cards, for starters (even though not necessarily all are good!)- play or idle the game, collect the cards, trade some for others or buy them and voila, a set :)

nope. it doesn't always give 1 xp. since he/she is on 50+, I think it will be 2 or 1.5 for each one
