Steam down?

Is anyone else not getting into steam? I was just on it downloading a game and all of a sudden I now have no connection.

i had a dream about seeing hl3 on steam. It had a hl3 icon on the top left side. It was just 3 characters. H, L, 3. Then I woke up and said, damn no wonder i was dreaming.

Yup. My steam client is currently saying "No connection" Oddly would not have looked at it if it was not for the thread :P ( Though I was planning on playing something soon(ish)

I saw that it was a scheduled downtime. I'm actually kind of confused. Steam usually disconnects during server downtime.

So weird... I enter login + password, hit enter, and I don't get the connection problem window anymore, but steam windows doesn't open... All I have is a steam processus running... xD

i had it at first, then ended the process using task manager, then it started logging me in, but is stuck at the connecting. gonna kill this process too hang on.

Edit: didnt work, still just trying to connect :(. and i needed help with markup :( or markdown, i get em confused.
