well first bioshock was creepy and underwater, thats what i liked about it, now seems they just taken it out of the game so i think bioshock infinite will be crap.... well i need to see for myself but i got the feel that they made it more mainstream.

Being on a city like Rapture just were another factor (a big one ofc) that made the game epic, but i actually loved the game mostly for it's story and the characters involved in it.
I've got the feeling that they have done a good job making another epic story that fits perfectly for a city like Columbia, but i'm a bit worried about how they worked out with Elizabeth idea and how much she helps during the game.

I'm not too bothered about rewards, its just if it is a good game and everyone is recommending it then I will get it now as it has money off and rewards. But if it is not worth £30 then I won't get it. I have never played Bioshock before so can't tell if I like it and is it a hard game, because really hard games frustrate the hell out of me. I'm more of a casual type gamer, that enjoys the odd FPS.

"its just if it is a good game and everyone is recommending it then I will get it"
Why are people recommending it if it's not even out?
If you don't have XCOM or BioShock one I'd get it since that doesn't seem like a bad deal, but no one can really say if it's a good game or not since it's not even out yet.

I'm sure they can guess from what the previous what bioshocks were like

Not all games are as great as their sequels.
People love BioShock 1 more than 2, and then let's take a look at Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War.
Also I should note that you can that XCOM right now is about $16 and BioShock 1 & 2 have both been sold for $5.

Were the first two bioshocks any good, I don't really want persuading I want to know other peoples opinions on the Bioshock franchinse.

Well, people are sort of mixed about this new Bioshock game. Some people are worried that it's going to be too casual, as many sequels are, though the devs promised that they were aiming it toward the Call Of Duty crowd like a lot of people think. I'd wait until it goes on sale on Steam or something, but it's up to you, really. The original Bioshock is good, though I personally think it's a little overrated. But still good. I dunno about X-COM.

Even tho I used to be a pirate (couldn't afford games) I still think your such a despicable scumbag for saying that just because it isn't multi-player it should be pirated.

I would happily spend 50€ on a singleplayer game like Bioshock Infinite once, than 60€ every year for a multiplayer game like all these Call of Duty or Battlefields that are the same thing over and over again with the only difference of new maps and new weapons and sometimes a bit of improvement on graphics.

For my part I already pre ordered it, Bioshock 1 is a game that was great for me, 2 was a little more of the same from my perspective. From what I saw in trailers and the like, this looks good enough.
The rewards are like this, Bioshock 1 is, as I said, great, so you can play it or trade it, TF2 items I guess sometime in the future will be available to sell through the steam market, so you get some money back (in steam wallet), and XCOM was a breath of fresh air and an excellent game, loved the old one and this one didn't disappoint, and if you don't care about it, then also you can trade it (or gift it!).
But as some said here, it depends entirely on you, watch some trailers and see what you feel about it.

why not buy the bundle at greenmangaming for £23.99??? you can get Bioshock 1, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock infinite. It's a bargain! The bundle contains bioshock 1 no matter what but you can choose another game out a bunch instead of bioshock 2. If you already own bioshock 1 simply gift it to a friend or put it on SG for some contrib. You have nothing to loose using GMG to preorder ull save yourself some extra too.

I loved Bioshock, and think Infinite looks really good, so I got in on the GMG deal. Got it for 46 bucks, which is pretty good on it's own, but I also got Bioshock 1 to give away and Mafia II.
It's impossible to say how good it'll be, but it's got a solid team, and looks really awesome. So I went for it.

I find the whole Bioshock series overhyped. Play the originals and decide.

i prefer waiting a year (or a bit more) and buy it with 75% discont or even more in another store

The preorder bonuses on Steam are quite large. And mostly involve other games. Which makes me think he publisher is really desperate for pre-orders.
Which makes me think the publisher doesn't think Bioshock Infinite will sell well once the game is released and the truth is out.

I have £50 to spend on games, and Bioshock is £30. Is it worth it and will I get the TF2 items, bioshock 1 and xcom with it (are all still in-stock) and is there or will there be any better games coming out soon?
