i have a fav'game for each console & computer i got in my life haha
RPG : FABLE (XB360), FPS : Borderlands (XB360, PC), Race : Gran Turismo & Destruction Derby (PS2) ; Mario Kart (N64), Strategy : Age of empire (PC), City builder : Sim city & Banished (PC), Beautifull Katamari (XB360) and GTA Vice City of course :D

i'd have to go back to classics.. "SNES Super Mario World" would still have to be my all time favorite.. still frequently (at least once ever cple years) launch rom of it and play some.

Based off of playtime it would have to be:
Lego Universe (Around 1,000 hours. Would have been more if it didn't shut down)
Minecraft (Around 3,000 hours. 2/3 on servers and the other 1/3 in modded single-player.)

But for games on steam that I've enjoyed it would be:
Factorio (100 hours, half was pre-steam)
Divinity: Original Sin (83 Hours, This was an awesome game)
Fallout 4 (88+ Hours, This was my first and favorite fallout game, I'm in my second playthrough right now.)

Also:
New Super Mario Bros 3 (NES) (This is the game I grew up on, and I've played through it dozens of times, so much nostalgia)

Tough question... I would say DA: Origins. But then again i have to say Hitman: Blood Money. And come on I have to mention Isaac, I've invested in it 600 hours by now ffs.

Mother 3. No game had affected me as profoundly as this weird little RPG I couldn't even read without outside resources. Finally played the fan translation a couple of years ago, and it's just as warm and magical as I remembered.

Undertale came extremely close to matching it, though.

Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within (but also Grim Fandango and The Cat Lady).

Planescape: Torment.

Space Rangers 2: Reboot, GTA V and M&B:Warband .

Final Fantasy X, Gran Turismo 2, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Talos Principle.

If I had to pick one with a gun to my head, I'd choose Talos Principle.
