People hating when I don't think the intention is to be a good value game bundle. The first bullet point says IGN without ads. I think this is primarily a way to subscribe to IGN for their content and maps and guides and the games and loot are extra bonuses. Not saying it is or isn't worth it, but while trying to decide, it doesn't even really see like it's trying to be a budget Humble Bundle.

Yeah I would expected the full game from their wording: "As part of IGN Fan Fest, we are giving away free copies of the upcoming game "I Am Jesus Christ" on Steam. Login and claim your copy." It does not say free copies of the prologues or anything similar.

It's gotta be either a mistake in the type of keys given.. or a miscommunication between IGN and the dev. I'm really hoping they're able to solve the issue for people that already claimed a key because I don't want to be screwed out of the correct game just because I claimed a key during their mistake.

Grime is such a great game.
I REALLY don't want to give IGN a second sub since I sub to the HB Choice, but I do have a friend that doesn't like to sub to things that's interested in it.
Is there a tier you need to be to claim it or can I claim it on the $1 trial?
Trouble with that is, I'm a VERY forgetful person and might forget to cancel though.

So the publisher probably wanted to promote the full game by giving away the prologue (which is already free) and IGN misunderstood them lol. Can't say I'm all that surprised. I'll keep subbing for $1 trials but if they're already showing incompetency that's not a good look for things to come.
Still, it's a good deal for $1 per month but they can't keep giving us $1 trials forever. I expect more reliability if they want us to pay $30 for a yearly sub

I cancelled my $1 trial 3 days ago, the charging date was february 28. They didn't charge me, and I just claimed this game. Weird.
EDIT: checked my subscription history, my subscription started january 29, so it makes sense their system still sees me as a member because of february dates woes. The trial description explicitly says its a 30 days trial, so yes, I'm still on my trial period.

GONE. This is stupid. You're supposed to pay +30€ (VAT excluded) for a chance to maybe if you're lucky (and fast) have the remote possibility to receive a game??? Is it so hard to have enough keys for all IGN Plus subscribers or are all keys going to people doing the one month trial thingie?

i don't sub to this and i am glad i already had problems with not yet getting a key for first class trouble from monthly - yes that was a few months old but this is just a few hours - this reminds me of the old green arcade thing (or some similar name) where they would randomly add games to the store to redeem for points but mostly like 7 or 8 copies gone before you ever saw it

I cannot pay for the $1 trial with Paypal. 🥺 It is only Shop Pay (?), Google Pay, or credit cards. 🥹 My bank would charge me fees if I paid in USD with my card. 🫠 I will stick to Humble and Fanatical bundles then. Sorry, IGN.

They removed some giveaways from my IGN Rewards page, but I already claimed it all, so no worries here... Just don't trust the Rewards page, looks like IGN won't keep it for long, and redeem the keys ASAP (or save/write them somewhere else).
