Hey everyone, few months ago I brought the Turtle Beach: Tango (The Black Ops II edition), now because I got more into PC gaming now (probably because of steamgifts), I want to use that headsets on my PC (Currently using Turtle Beach X1), the problem is that I am unable to use the microphone because it doesn't have a separate cable for microphone, the only thing it has is that little cable that connects from amplifier to the Xbox controller.

I brought a 3.5mm Male to 2.5mm Female Plug Audio so I can connect the cable from the amplifier to that little thing and then on PC, the problem is that is not working. I did some research and I found out that to make it work, I have to connect the controller to the PC, then the microphone to the xbox controller. Doing this, will make a mess of cables and I really don't wanna do that.

Any suggestions of what I need to buy or how I can make that plug that I brought to work? Any suggestions are welcome.

Cheers :D

I just wish I could plug my 360 headset into my wired 360 controller and use the damn thing.

It works. Have done it on a few occasions. Windows 7 recognizes it

Never has for me. I have two headsets and two controllers, can confirm all work, but try it on my PC and nothing.

Windows 7 and 8 works ok, XP and Vista no. The only reason I don't want do that is because I have already too many wires, adding three more wires to that group will not make my room happier.

Yeah, I have Windows 7. Damned if I know. Fortunately, it doesn't often matter, since I don't often play online, just the occasional game of Left 4 Dead 2 with friends when they can't get a better player.

And when I do play, no one needs to hear me swearing at my team mates.

It doesn't even see my mic. It calls it a headset, but I only have speakers in options, nothing about the mic.

Just plug the thing into your Xbox Controller, and plug the controller into the computer.. it will power it. and you don't have to use the controller.

done this on a few occasions for Battlefield 3

Then there will be the controller that I need a location to keep it, an extra cable for the controller and again another cable that connects the headset to the computer.
