Aaaaaannnnnnd I'm at it again. This time the topic is anime series.

What was the last one you watched from start to finish? It has to be one that ended and has no more seasons coming that we know of.

Last one I watched, and I admit I watched it on cartoon network, was Megalo Box. DAMN that was amazing. Art style was reminiscent of Cowboy Bebop. Even the way the episodes ended with the iconic message on the bottom of the screen.

Wish there would be a second season.

With no more seasons coming? That leaves out a few series I recently watched.
So I guess it would be SSSS Gridman like two months ago (binged it after it finished airing), I loved it, even tho I watched SSSS like two decades ago and can't remember much about it and never watched the original Gridman I found this interpretation to be a really well crafted series with some very interesting concepts that delivered what it promised.

Finally finished Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, compared to SN it was muuuuch better. I absolutely loved Saber in UBW, she was more humanly from first episode she appeared.

I have no idea. I stopped watching anime in like 2014. I just stuck to manga after that. Even my MAL says my last anime update was plan to watch in 2016 :P

Fullmetal Alchemist (the original). Re-watched it with a good friend who had never seen it. Now working our way through Brotherhood. It's insane how condensed that is compared to the first series.

I recently finished Mob Psycho 100 (Mobu Saiko Hyaku). The art style isn't one I like much, but I had watched the live-action series and thought the writing was quite good. I just had to watch the anime after that.

Well, the anime turned out to be quite good, also, so I was eager to see the second Season. Crimony! Season Two is even better than Season One! Surprisingly good, in fact. Mob Psycho 100 has quickly become one of my favorite anime series of all time, and I highly recommend it.

So, I've recently started watching One Piece.... It's a long series, it's highly rated, and the basic plotline promises action and adventure. All things I look for in an anime.

Well, the early episodes did not impress me. Lazy art, lazy writing, LOTS of filler. I've been sticking with it, however, and it is starting to get interesting, enough so that I am holding my nose at the "heroes" being pirates and am continuing to watch the anime. (I'm up to episode 51, now.)

I haven't finished this anime, yet, but I don't see another "anime discussion thread" in our forum where I might hear from other people who know One Piece.

A friend got me to watch One Piece, I started in the end of December but then by mid-January I got to 140-something and couldn't go on. Overall I really like it, but the filler and the leisurely pace during the actual important stuff bothers me a lot. I was told that by the 200-300s it gets really good but there are plenty amazing stuff in my list that are 10-20 episodes long, so it's more on less on an indefinite hold.

BTW, I'd like to warn you that there's a huge spoiler in the third opening, it reveals something that happens at the end of the arc, so when it appears you might want to skip watching it until the end of that part (Episode 130).

Thanks for the tip about the opening(s). I noticed the spoilers in the first opening (and ending), so I've been skipping the OP's and ED's.

Well, I guess I'll see if I can be patient until episode 250. I have to admit, I've been spoiled by some of the truly great anime I've enjoyed. I'm coming to One Piece right after finishing Mob 2, and that one was perhaps the best anime I've ever seen.

That I have finished it is probably either Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto or The Devil is a Part-timer. I prefer those quirky comedies over the over the top action anime

If you like comedy anime, I recommend Baka and Test & Konosuba in case you haven't watched them
