Team Fortress 2, Borderlands 2 (despite the story), and Garry's Mod.

And probably Skyrim too.

And definetly Minecraft.

MP: Runescape - wasted a shit ton of hours on it.
SP: King kong, The walking dead survival instincts - both are equally bland and horrible games

Multiplayer: not really any. (haven't played any of the (un)famous flamewar ragekiddie FPS games yet.)

singleplayer: Postal 2.

it was on sale and it said it would contain berzerker elephants...liars.

Everyone saying that they wished they'd never played Runescape... If you wasted as many hours playing as you say you did, either
(a) you enjoyed playing (I did) or
(b) you couldn't not play it.

(a) If you enjoyed it at the time, why do you wish now that you hadn't wasted all that time? You enjoyed it at the time so who the hell cares that it now appears as a waste?
(b) It's probably a good thing you stopped. That's called addiction.

Ehhh, somehow I would end up just doing mining. I almost got my skill high enough to get into the mining guild when during one of my lulls in playing it, I lost my account, like it no longer exsisted....... I want that time back......

I'd say my personal problem is more with its developer Jagex than anything else. They completely sold out and started turning RuneScape into a shameless money grab(I'd say their downfall started when they published War of Legends, a game based mainly on microtransactions). They used to update the game with actual content... if you look at their recent game update history it's either some "event" that is desperately trying to make you get membership or adding something more to their microtransaction store(said store was pretty much their final backstab to the game's community). I liked the game for its quest lines and stories... I left the game because it started looking hungrily at my wallet. :/

Oh, yea. It went downhill faster than a man jumping out of a plane after they released War of Legends. I stopped playing because my parents had been paying for membership, so they said they'd get me a computer capable of running better games in trade off for not paying for membership.

Haven't really looked back since. I occasionally wondered about going back just for a few minutes, but it was really only a fleeting moment...

Bulletstorm, which incidentally has "BS" as its initials. I don't play a lot of MP, but those I did I enjoyed.

Garry's Mod, weather it be Single-Player or Multiplayer. I don't mind playing it every now and then just to play a horror map or screw around on Cinema, but I have no damn idea how I spent over 150 hours on it.
