Serious question for any physicists out there:
Larynachos is left at level 4 and really wants to kick a baby. He has played soccer for some of his life and can kick at a force of 4,000 N. How far could he realistically expect to drop kick a 3 kg baby, given it is launched at a 45 degree angle (assume no air resistance)?

Not very far, considering most babies are not aerodynamic in shape and has an uneven weight distribution.
Best way to determine this is to gather some 3 kg babies, and let larynachos kick them, measure the distance and get an average.

What n value do you think would be appropriate here? I'd say he's going to have to kick at least 30 babies.

As with all things, the larger the n, the larger the confidence interval and the smaller the p.
But yeah, with no statisticians around I'd ballpark 30-40 babies for a significant result.
