(PC) Unreal Tournament '99. It was fast-paced, and had lots of characters, the campaign was lenghty and it had lots of game modes. It had Attack/Defense maps much before other FPS games.

(PlayStation home consoles) Zone Of The Enders: The Second Runner. Lots of replay value, "high speed robot action" is the best way to describe it. And now a third one is on the way, thanks Kojima!.

(Nintendo home consoles) Conker's Bad Fur Day. Insta-classic since it's release. I never get tired of it and it's pretty cool.

(Portable) Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (PSP). Excellent story with moral decisions "a la Mass Effect", but they had more weight. The outcome of the story changes drastically and it gives you totally different missions, team members, etc. It's a remake from a SNES game, but the PSP version is the best, they added LOTS of cool stuff to make it worth a purchase.
Oh, and plays like Final Fantasy Tactics, so it's THAT awesome.

UUuuugh... I have no clue what to pick!? I mean, Skyrim is by far my favorite RPG, Halo is my favorite shooter (suck it CoD fags), but some of my fondest memories of playing games were with Star Wars Battlefront II... So it's going to have to be a tie between:

1.) The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

2.) Halo 3
