Stupid "Community's Choice" voters

Unless there is a game I want I vote randomly simple.

I don't vote the higher pourcentage but for the game i'm interested in :p

Yeah, I just place my votes randomly, unless there's a game I actually want.

Actually Gnomoria won over Doorways, not Braid.

People who only care about trade card seem to be voting for the first title from the left.

I go about it the same way as I always do, I vote for the game that seems the most interesting to me, regardless of the %.

I vote for the one that i consider the best game out of the three, i don't take the financial part into account(unless the price reduction is stupidly low) and, no offence to anyone but the other two choices were jokes compared to sacrifice. I think most people vote for either the games they like or blindly just to get the globe cards.

Evochron Mercenary (goes on sale once a year) lost to Red Faction, which has been bundled and on sale many times. I just think the majority of people are stupid on this planet. That's probably what it boils down to.

It would be nice if there was a "just gimmie the card" vote button but that's not how it works. You just have to hope that the missed flash deals show up later as daily/second chance offers. I expect to see Sang Froid again.

The vote isn't rigged. The average Steam user is stupid as hell :)

The thing is, people vote for games they don't own. By extension, the popular games which are owned by more people lose more, with the exception of a few very popular games.

I've just been picking randomly or farming my vote out to whoever I have around that wants it to go to something in particular since most of them don't matter to me

So far nearly every game part of the community choice has been a flash sale or daily deal and by the end of the sale they should all have been part of either of those or both. But i am willing to bet most people are like me and don't care for any of them so they just pick the one that is cheapest or pick some random one. Not to mention the fact that not every game is available in every region so they don't show up so some games get a ridiculously high number of votes.

also they should line up games that have the same % value (or at least similar values)

what I didn't understand was how Resident Evil 6 lost to The Walking Dead... Walking Dead is a Really good game but people can actually use the big discount on Resident Evil 6.

Whatever is most reduced keeps winning, regardless of whether it's been on sale umpteen times before or what the game actually is.

Sacrifice is one of the best genre-mix games, that got very good mechanics and gameplay. Tho - very highly underrestimated by people. Completed it 3 times (Fire, Death, Death+Earth mix), every mission got very impressed by that high difficulty.

I like that game. One of my favourites.

I voted for Scarified. I don't really want any of them because I don't really know any of them. I pick the cheapest one because that's the one I'm most likely to buy. If I don't want any of them and there is one I really enjoyed then I vote for it so maybe others will pick it up and enjoy it too. Sort of a recommendation.

I always vote for the highest percentage if there is nothing that interests me for the damn card. This is Valve's fault, not of our own.

Sacrifice is awesome game. Just because people don't vote for what you want doesn't make them idiots.

Why stupid? Not all check regularly prices. People vote, what they want, and what is the best in their opinion. Also it is easy to check what is discout without winning social vote (if it is 25% now, and they want give -33% - it is not worth it). Many vote for that what the most probably buy, when they could spend for them money (even they not want do this). It is reason, why win, this, and not other game. Steam do it by give something for that votes.
