+1 I voted for Gnomoria. Got 2 copies, one for my Dorf Fort-loving friend and one for me. :)

People who only care about trade card seem to be voting for the first title from the left.

I've noticed this as well, first from the left has won pretty much everytime, regardless of other factors. I blame the damn snowglobe voters... Would have bought several items if they had gotten the discounts instead... so steam is probably missing out on some money due to the silliness with globe voting.

I vote for the one that i consider the best game out of the three, i don't take the financial part into account(unless the price reduction is stupidly low) and, no offence to anyone but the other two choices were jokes compared to sacrifice. I think most people vote for either the games they like or blindly just to get the globe cards.

Evochron Mercenary (goes on sale once a year) lost to Red Faction, which has been bundled and on sale many times. I just think the majority of people are stupid on this planet. That's probably what it boils down to.

It would be nice if there was a "just gimmie the card" vote button but that's not how it works. You just have to hope that the missed flash deals show up later as daily/second chance offers. I expect to see Sang Froid again.

The vote isn't rigged. The average Steam user is stupid as hell :)

Kid lol ? I am not the one crying over a community vote and feel the need to make a thread about it, grow up ;)

Don't worry, it's not you. He has issues. This is the same dude that awhile ago wouldn't stop pestering me on a daily basis for like a week straight about trading him Aquaria and RAGE: Anarchy Edition when I respectfully tried to make it clear over and over and over again that he didn't have anything I was interested in at the time -- at the end of which it was like a small child throwing a tantrum when they don't get what they want. Needless to say I ended up having to block him.

I've just been picking randomly or farming my vote out to whoever I have around that wants it to go to something in particular since most of them don't matter to me

So far nearly every game part of the community choice has been a flash sale or daily deal and by the end of the sale they should all have been part of either of those or both. But i am willing to bet most people are like me and don't care for any of them so they just pick the one that is cheapest or pick some random one. Not to mention the fact that not every game is available in every region so they don't show up so some games get a ridiculously high number of votes.

Resident Evil 6 got pulled and was replaced by Devil May Cry. It wouldn't win.

Sacrifice is one of the best genre-mix games, that got very good mechanics and gameplay. Tho - very highly underrestimated by people. Completed it 3 times (Fire, Death, Death+Earth mix), every mission got very impressed by that high difficulty.
I like that game. One of my favourites.

I voted for Scarified. I don't really want any of them because I don't really know any of them. I pick the cheapest one because that's the one I'm most likely to buy. If I don't want any of them and there is one I really enjoyed then I vote for it so maybe others will pick it up and enjoy it too. Sort of a recommendation.

Yeah, I was sad that Brothers didn't win. But hey, we got game that was on daily deal instead! -_-

Why stupid? Not all check regularly prices. People vote, what they want, and what is the best in their opinion. Also it is easy to check what is discout without winning social vote (if it is 25% now, and they want give -33% - it is not worth it). Many vote for that what the most probably buy, when they could spend for them money (even they not want do this). It is reason, why win, this, and not other game. Steam do it by give something for that votes.

Sacrifice (80% sale) winning with a 47% over sang froid (75% sale) 23%? Come on now.. really?! I won't count the raven cause the sale is just 60%, and this is not the first time it happens. Earlier Braid (80% sale) won with a 44% over Doorways Chapter 1&2 (75% sale) with a 33%, and before that another even more outrageous. We all know these are controlled by Steam but making it so obvious?
EDIT: so the conclusion is the majority of the voters are just mindless idiots who don't even care about the games that go in the voting and click randomly just to get some cards. DERP!
