Both this year and the last had been pretty awful for me too, and I had just made a decision that I'm determined to not back out again. I hope 2017 will be a much better year for you, me and everyone else.

I saves a wild kitty out of a fence once. It paid me with 64 scratches (yes, I counted them :p) on my arm. Then the doc gave me a tetanus shot as fun extra. Good times, good times.

There are people who are doing worse than you. I can say it hasn't been not just my year but my whole life(if that makes sense) and I am still here and alive so there is always hope that things will get better. Just be the best person you can be and if people don't appreciate it it's their loss.

Even if 2016 wasn't the best year for you, please don't fret it. It's nearly over, and besides having a new year right around the corner, every day is a chance to make a new start in the right direction. One of my favorites quotes says that, "Only when the sky is darkest can we see the stars". Besides, you never know when you may come across something... unexpected. :)
