Will send a prayer up for him. Make sure to give him a few good last moments, so he can go smiling, although that's not easy with cancer.
Try to make a last familyphoto if the last one was a long tihttp://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/P06qX/me ago.

This would be scary for anyone, especially someone so young. I lost a cousin, she was several years older than your nephew, but still young. She'd managed to arrange seeing me before she passed away and I had no idea she was seeing me to say goodbye. I knew she had always been sick but she was so upbeat and strong. I didn't realize, how little time she had left. If I'd been in her place, I would have been moping and miserable and falling to pieces. When she passed away I wished I'd spent more time and reached out more, but I always think back to the last day we spent together. She was at such peace with everything, like she knew and understood something about life, I haven't yet accepted. I think it's great that you are there for your nephew, that's all you can really do for him and for you. My prayers are with you.

Thank you very much guys for the goodwill and prayers. My sisters family is quite poor and don't have a computer, I am forwarding your comments to her via text as they come in.
Regards,
Gary

I'll include your nephew in my prayers tonight. Remember that everything happens for a reason, we all have our time. If he does pass on, he will be in a much better place.

Thoughts and prayer for your nephew. I wish for him to go peacefully if unable to defeat this, but I do wish even harder that he manages to fight this off.
Having lost my grandson-to-be a few months ago, I know all too well how powerless we can sometimes feel in the face of adversity. Just be there for him and for your sister, that's the part you can play in this.

I hope the best for your family and prayed for a miracle to come through. I will be sending good vibes towards you tonight and I pray that, if anything, this is as painless as it can be for him <3

Haven't really posted on the forums/looked through them before but this post caught my eye.
I'm so sorry you and your family have to go through something like this ): It's always painful to see someone have cancer slowly eat away at them, especially for such a young kid. I guess the best thing you can do is be with him as much as possible and try to brighten up his days as much as you can. Sometimes life is really cruel, but I hope you can still manage to show him a lot of love while you can, if it really is terminal.
Also praying for the rest of your family to stay strong through this.

I tried to write this post so many times but nothing seems adequate to express how deeply sorry I am for you and your family and most especially for Steven. Nothing so horrible should ever happen to a child. He has all my prayers and wishes.

I am sorry to hear about your little nephew. I just found out today that my cousin has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in a country where it is not easy to get medical treatment. I am praying for both her and for Steven. Praying for you and your sister as well, that God would be your strength and comforter, as I can only imagine how difficult it must be for your whole family.
You mentioned prayer, do you believe in the God? May He pour out his compassion on you:
"As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts."
(Psalm 103:13-18)
