This site is Really Slow?

I hope it gets fixed. I wanted to do F5 giveaway this weekend.

It's taking like 5 minutes to enter a single giveaway!

with my dsl 2000 it is always that slow. bad thing is that it is always slow but he good thing is that it is not slower right now :P

Yes. These last days this site has been painfully slow for me, sometimes it takes so much time to load that I end up with an error page, so I have to reload to re-enter a giveaway or re-post my comments.

Sometimes even load a page, and takes like 30sec to work for 5sec again.

Yeah it's been really slow for me all day, at some times it didn't even load at all. ;c

overall it's pretty sllow but there are moments it's actually fast, only fr a few seconds though.
I hope it isn't a server (D)DoS attack though.

SteamGifts should consider banning the "F5 Refresh Giveaways" which last a crazy 1 hour or more just waiting for the gifter to post a private link giveaway on the forums. They are worst than a DDOS attacks from a hacker affecting the entire site.

yes it's slow because some fucktards playing stupid puzzle games on forum, and spamming shitload of queries just to find out a private giveaway, and they create a natural DDoS attack on steamgifts servers, that slows down the server for rest of us...

ps: if you gonna make a giveaway, just do a normal giveaway or do it as group if you so desire, but dont DDoS the fuckin server... we dont have to suffer this shit just because you're gonna play some stupid forum puzzle..
