This site is Really Slow?

Since 2 or 3 days, steamgift and steamtrades are extremely slow... When i click on something, i allways got a message saying that the page cannot be found.. and then i click another time and it works (after i wait for 30 sec or more)... is it normal?

All the other sites works perfectly so don't say that i have a shitty connection ^^

Edit: All is back to normal ! :D

I have the same problem. It seems like a database problem to me, because when I ping the site, I get around 110 ms, which is normal.

Actually he is most likely correct because I get a consistent 15-20ms ping (with no packet loss) even when the site is slow to respond. It's clearly a database issue, and not a bandwidth or connectivity one.

same here, in fact i couldnt even reply to this thread cause of it. its been slow for a week for me and when someone made a thread about it then they got jumped all over by people claiming it was their fault or some bs and to stop whining. well its been a week and its still slow. i formatted for a diff reason and then it was fast again now today slow again

Been having the same issue, even missed a giveaway when I clicked the button to enter and then it didn't enter me before the giveaway ended and just gave me a page cannot be displayed error.

I was lucky that I was able to even load this page let alone place a bid on anything. It's been really slow for me since yesterday and occasionally Chrome throws me an error message saying that this site has been reported slow for others too. Not sure what is going on but none of the other websites I go to are slow and my gaming is fine too. Maybe it's time for a server upgrade.

Now I'm going to hit the Submit Comment button and probably have to wait a few minutes to see if it worked.
