Ones from Steelseries are good and have a reasonable price ... like Ikari , Sensei
I'm using Roccat Kone for last 4 and half years , had minor problems . Nothing that can't be fixed. Best mouse i've ever had

People have been suggesting the Logitech G600 in these type of threads.

I have the Logitech G400. It doesn't have hundreds of extra keys but it's good for everyday usage and it's cheap. And you can rebind the resolution keys when you don't need them.

Yes the G400 is amazing. It is the go to mouse for people who actually know about sensors and why they matter. If you're dead set on getting more buttons and superfluous features, then anything else will do.

I had made a thread just like this before. It already has a lot of opinions about various gaming mice. If you have the time Check it Out!

You can get yourself R.A.T. 5 - I'm getting one for xmas myself ;)
It's highly customisable gaming mouse, personally I think one of best to hold in hand, and as R.A.T. 9 kicked shelves 5 is considered "old generation" right now and highly discounted on many stores :)

Depends on how much you'd like to spend on it and how good mouse you need. E.g. I don't have money for a high category gaming mouse (and I don't even need it), so I have an A4tech device.
My previous one was an A4Tech X710-fs. It was pretty decent, used it for 5 years, but time got it (Still useable, but button 4 gets stuck, when I press it)
I switched for a XL-747H last month and I don't regret it.

If you're looking a comfortable mouse for shooter, try Creative Fatal1ty Professional Laser (a.k.a. fatal1ty 2020)
I've been using it for many years and it still works perfectly.

I fail to notice differences among bad mice and expensive mice so I own a 10€ Logitech that works as smooth as silk. I do not know if expending eight or ten times that amount gaves that better results.
I could be completely mistaken though.
PS: Mine is RX250

I had a Logitech G9 for about 4 years and got really used to it and liked it a lot, it was great in games. then the wire snapped because of bending it a lot when carrying it around. I now have a simple logitech usb mouse. can't tell a difference between them.

I have a razer deathadder. I like it as it fits my hand nicely and there aren't too many buttons you might accidentally push on. With a gaming mouse you can map the buttons to "use item X", alt-fire etc. and it is essential for multiplayer games IHOMO.

If your thinking about buying a gaming mouse i can give You a few tips. First of all someone recommended A4techs, don't buy them, i had 3 of them, every time the scroll goes just after the warranty expires. Logitechs are quite good but if I would be buying another mouse I wouldn't think for a second I would only buy a Razer. http://www.razerzone.com/store/choose/choose-razer-deathadder - here you have the best value for money. I'm using a deathadder myself now, and it's a big difference even to other gaming mice. It's very good to use in every day usage, I wont go into details, but if you never used a gaming mouse you'll see a huge difference. If you absolutely need a wireless mouse i would suggest a Razer Mamba but it's twice the price of a Deathadder. One final piece of advice before buying any gaming mouse find and read a few reviews of it, preferably by professional gamers.

I've got the Logitech G500 and I'm very happy with it.

This is the one I've got and I'm fairly happy with it as well. I much prefer wireless, though I seem to be in the minority. Regardless of preference, I'd go for a Logitech mouse. They've got comfortable buttons, an easy to use setup program that allows multiple profiles, and cooperative tech support (among other things, they've sent me a free wireless receiver when mine was broken, and sent me whole a new keyboard, free of charge, when one of my keys broke).
If you're looking for wireless, I'd try and find the MX1100. I feel it's got the perfect amount of buttons, and is very comfortable once you get used to the size (it's admittedly huge). The biggest issue with the MX1100 is they don't make them anymore (which is in fact the only reason I bought the G500). If you're looking for something with a cord, go for the G500 indeed. The weights that come with the mouse aren't really necessary for anything IMO, but it's still a good mouse with the same number of programmable buttons as the MX1100, and its size is much closer to that of your average mouse.
Both the MX1100 have: Left/Right click, clickable 4-way scroll wheel (scrolls up and down, clicks left and right) and 5 additional buttons. Everything but the left click is fully customizable via the included setpoint program.
There is an "upgrade" to the MX1100, but it's much more expensive (was like $100 at Best Buy) and was missing one of the buttons that the MX1100 had, so I wouldn't really suggest it.
You also might want to look into the G600, as was suggested. If you can get it from Amazon at that price, it might be worth it. I considered getting it myself but I can't buy online (closed my bank account a while back, so no debit card), and it was $80-$90 in stores at the time, so ultimately I passed. To me it looks less comfortable than the G500 or MX1100 anyway.

It is best and many people seem to own it.
I have it too and it is best mouse I've ever had.

I recommend the G400.
Basic ergonomic mouse, 3200dpi (believe me, you won't need more) 5 Buttons incl. macros.
High precise sensor optical mouse, no laser-crap.
Easy usable in palm or claw grip.
The G500 is the same mouse, more focused on lights and gaming stuff.
But the G500 does a noisy little sound that not everyone is able to hear, very high frequency beeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
Also, the g400 is very cheap.
I tested many mice, if you're unsure about which to choose if you have more than one favorite, you can add me to talk.
Sorry, my english isn't perfect, i know :-)

+1 on G400, however it's not TOO comfortable if you don't have a small hand :/ I have nowhere to put my last 2 fingers

I'm okay with it, too, just saying that it would be even better if it were slightly less crowded ;_; I was using Ergo 525 for quite some time before this one, that one fit perfectly.

+1 on this one. I use it and I find it comfortable even tho I have rather long fingers. I just rest mine on the side. But it's reliable, good and very cheap. It doesn't have any fancy lights or other useless bells and whistles but who needs that anyway? ;)

I have several suggestions.
Steelseries Kinzu or Steelseries Sensei - very good mouses. Razer Abyssus and Razer Imperator are both good too. Cyborg R.A.T. series are definitely ones that you can choose from and they look badass too.
But from cheaper ones I think you can buy Prestigio Racer mouse. I'm using it and have no problems using that mouse for gaming too. Nothing fancy but I really like it.

logitech g300 its great.
i wouldnt recommend razer they are all flash and no substance, alot of razer mice break within a few years.

This heavily depends on what kind of gamer are you. I could help you better if you told me what kind of games you play the most, or if you have any preferences (ie. colour, number of buttons, make, budget...)
Without that info, I can still recommend Logitech mouses, especially G500, but other are great too. I have a R.A.T. 7 right now, and it's great hardware-wise, but software might, or might not work on your PC, and without software it loses lots of it's functions.
If you were thinking about buying Razer, I'd tell you to avoid Razer if you can, their mouse look great but they are poor quality, but if you really want Razer, Imperator is probaly best buy ATM.
Outside of that, you have Steelseries, but I never tried their mouses, only their headphones (Siberia V2) and I'm a satissfied customer.

Hello there people.
I just wanted your opinions on gaming mice.
I'm getting a wireless adapter for my 360 controller anyway, but since my mice never last very long, I am thinking about getting a gaming mouse.
Are they any good for just normal everyday usage and is there a significant difference to warrant a purchase for gaming?
If you think so, could you recommend a few cheaper ones?
Thanks guys.
PS, one of you will get a free key for World of Goo, because I'd appreciate good answer and suggestion towards mice. :)
