Hi again everyone!
Since I noticed you enjoyed my last train full of point-and-click games, I've decided to create another one, but this time there'll be mainly leftovers I have from the last humble bundles.
Towards the end, you'll find 4 "surprises": they're games that really impressed me recently and I enjoyed playing (or are at the top of my wishlist). I'm more than glad to give the opportunity to try them to you, hoping you'll like them!
The train is for level 3+ and it's protected with Sgtools. It will last six days.

But before I write the link to the train, I have a question for you: can you tell me which is your "hidden gem", the game you enjoyed the most in the last period but that's very underrated in your opinion? It doesn't matter if it's a cheap indie game or an AAA+ title... I'll surely take note of most of them and add them to my wishlist, like I did last time!

Here we go, ENJOY THE RIDE!

Thanks for the amazing train.

I don't know if it's "hidden" but I've enjoyed Slime Rancher.

It was in one recent Humble Monthly, right? Maybe I didn't pay too much attention to it, but I'll see some gameplay. Thanks!

A survival game... it looks like a raw version of The Forest or Stranded Deep. I'll give it a look when I'll have some time. Thanks!

The most recent surprisingly good game was actually Deus Ex: The Fall I can understand why it's almost universally hated though with the kind of simplistic mechanics and unfinished plot. Comming in with no expectations it's a quite nice game though.

Also, I didn't expectTiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers to be so exceptionally good, although it may not actually qualify as a hidden gem given its overwhelmingly positive status on Steam

Well, most of the games I'd recommend you seem to know about already. So, clearly you have good taste! ;)

One that you may not know about, and which rather surprised me, is Marlow Briggs. It's a dirt cheap God of War style game with shockingly high production values and, most importantly, really good combat. It manages to nail the fun of GoW style combat better than any of the AAA games trying to do the same thing. It's totally worth its meager asking price: http://store.steampowered.com/app/249680/Marlow_Briggs_and_the_Mask_of_Death/

And you were right.... I didn't know this game at all. XD It looks very cool and I really appreciate its GoW style. Thanks a lot, mate! I added to my wishlist.

You're very welcome. I bought it solely based on user recommendations and a dirt cheap price, and was really impressed. It's definitely the best GoW clone I've come across, and I think I actually enjoyed it more than GoW Ascension.

Also, I'm guessing you might be a fellow Rock Paper Shotgun reader?

That explains it. I was thinking of the recent lesser known games I would recommend, and then found them all at the end of your train. ;)

Though I thought of more hidden gems you may like:

Fran Bow - a lovely point and click adventure game with a delightfully creepy visual aesthetic. I love the art style and the dark setting approached from the viewpoint of an innocent child - it reminds me of early Tim Burton - but the game itself is also really fun and full of surprises, and I only got stuck once in the middle of the game so the adventure game logic is pretty sound.

Black Closet - a really good detective game set inside an all-girl high school. As the head of the school's secret security force, your goal is to prevent incidents that might damage the school's public reputation while employing a delicate touch that doesn't turn the student body against you. You do this by dispatching your team to search and stake out locations, question and interrogate suspects, and similar investigative options. The cases change each time, so a missing student could just be someone going into town for a day, or it could be a sign of a something far more nefarious. There's also optional romance paths, and an overarching story, and it's really rather good.

Gunpoint - a really fun, and really funny, puzzle game. Armed with super-jumping pants and the ability to hack security systems, you're off on a case to infiltrate buildings and uncover the truth. Your approach is up to you - and you can be non-violent, stealthy, hack your way through, or go in guns blazing and pants jumping. The writing is also great, and often hilarious.

Magical Diary - from the same dev as Black Closet, it's a visual novel and school sim - and while that combination would normally cause my eyes to glaze over, it's actually really good. You're a new student at a wizard school - similar to Harry Potter - and you can choose what schools of magic to study, whom to romance, and what student activities you'd like to pursue. You can run of student office, date a demon, join a secret society, make out with a fairy, get expelled, etc. It's ridiculously replayable, and has a mind boggling number of different events, paths, and outcomes. And there are periodic tests where you're thrown into a dungeon, like in a dungeon crawler, and you have to use your wits and your learned spells to seek a way out. Do you blast your way through with fire, or seek nature to guide you, or just teleport your way out?

Shantae - really cute, and really good, metroidvania games. You take the role of the titular genie and hair-whip your way across levels and through dungeons, earning more movement abilities as you go. You learn to transform into different animals, gain magical attacks, and find secrets.

Thanks for this extra portion of games. I already knew two of them (Gunpoint and Fran Bow), but the other 3 look interesting too.
Btw, after reading Rock, Paper, Shotgune these days, I really wanted to add other fantastic and less known games to this train, but I've not "infinite coins" like in some videogames. XD I hope to remedy in the next trains or giveaways! Thanks again for all your suggestions, feel free to add other games if you like. ;)

Okay, here's a couple more suggestions:

Analogue - A Hate Story. It's a visual novel, but sort of a mystery / investigation one. You are an explorer hacking into a derelict ship, trying to find out the story of what happened aboard with the help of the ship's AI. The story is great, and there's one scene where - even though I knew what happened, and expected it - it was a complete punch to the gut to read it. I haven't played the sequel, Hate Plus, yet, but the original is great.

And I assume you're familiar with the Wadjet Eye Games? http://www.wadjeteyegames.com/games/ They're all really solid point and click adventures.

Thank you for the fantastic train! For my "hidden" gems, I'll give a brief coughblatantliescough list and description:

Mini Metro - a deceptively simple game about running a metro. Incredibly relaxing music, simple controls, and can get into Nintendo Hard puzzle levels as your game progresses. A challenge or simple relaxation, depending on how you play it.

Recettear:An Item Shop's Tale - The best shop management sim I've seen, bar none. Still looking for one that gives the same level of options and complexity that it does while still being FUN. Haven't found one yet. Has an anime art style and characters, but as long as you aren't allergic to that, you should enjoy it.

Sang-Froid: A Tale of Werewolves - A 3rd person tower defense game set in Canada. Defend your cabin and your sick sister inside from wolves, werewolves, and others sent by the Devil himself. Play as either a burly lumberjack or a lean, mean hunter.

Dungeonland - Most fun with friends either couch co-competetive or online. You can choose to either play as one of 3 heroes in this Isometric action them park, or as the sinister Dungeon Master! Use of the Evil Laugh button is not mandatory but is encouraged.

Sunless Sea - Play as a ship's captain in a Victorian/Lovecraftian underground ocean that London has been abducted into by giant bats. Trade in coffee. Ferry living mummies to the Tomb Colonies. Eat a seamonster(This is unpredictable). Eat your crew (This is unwise). Pass on your ship and possessions to your descendent (This is wise). Bargain with an underwater god of the sea (This is perilous). Seek Mr. Eaten's Name (THIS IS A BAD IDEA!). At the end of the day, it's you, your crew, and your ship against all the horrors the Unterzee can throw at you.

Stardew Valley - Not so hidden, but one of my favorite games. I pirated it, stopped after a few hours, went and bought it. Amazing game. It's a farming sim in the style of the original Harvest Moon.

Space Trader: Merchant Marine - Not a great game, but fun if you enjoy first person shooters and trading sims.

Daily Cthonicle - A fun management sim about running a newspaper in a town experiencing Lovecraftian events.

Glittermitten Grove - A fun game about managing a colony of fairies. UnFortunately theRe is sOmetimes a buG that occurs when you play For too long that Reduces your resources to A level that Can make you ThInk yOu areN't even playing the Same game.

Anything by Spiderweb Software - Spiderweb Software is a one man dev team that has been making games I've enjoyed since the 90s. Right now I'd recommend the Avernum or Avadon series, though if you don't mind older graphics all of their old games are pretty quality. Geneforge is great, but the graphics are on that edge where some people think it's fine and others claim it makes their eyes bleed.

Eon Altar - Great couch co-op RPG that you use your phones to control. This also lets you decide how much information to share with your party and how.

Expeditions: Conquistador - Fun turn based tactics game set in the "Age of Exploration"

King's Bounty: Crossworlds - The best of the King's Bounty series, fun turn based tactics combat mixed with real time RPG overworld.

Renowned Explorers: International Society - Explore strange locations looking for ancient treasures! Fight your enemies! Befriend a sheep! Make a demon feel so bad about themselves they leave the battlefield utterly depressed/sad/heartbroken!

That went a little overboard, but there are so many great games that deserve more attention! I hope you find one or two on the list that you like!

I want to thank you for all the time and patience needed to write such a detailed list. I already have some of those games in my wishlist (I'm totally in love with the Sunless Sea's atmosphere and I'm quite curious about Renowned Explorers: International Society) and I added some others I didn't know. I really appreciated your post and I'm sure I'll give some ideas to other users too!
