The problem here is that the regional and federal laws and restrictions concerning drones are conflicting, incomplete and having grey areas. It's a bit like 20 years ago when I started to work on and fly RC planes and I needed a special permission from the government to have a certain transmitting frequency (for my transmitter and receiver) so I wouldn't mess up National and local radio stations, police bands and such.

Indeed, seems like drones are much more popular than expected, used for unexpected purposes and suddenly, we need some laws to regulate it, but no one has quite figured what to do about it yet. What a strange world we live in!

I agree and as usual one of the first things that was clearly regulated, here, were the taxes and the permit fees to own and use a drone.
