Just a rule of thumb alot of giveaways probably means its being given away somewhere or its really cheap

And when it happens I usually jump right to this forum to figure out where it's coming from. Usually there will already be a thread about it but I've had to ask once or twice because there was no obvious discussion.

and when that happens, most of the people just jump up and buy that game so there are even more people who make those specific game giveaways xD

Oh wow.. that's pretty cheap. I'm pretty interested in trying this out, and for that price, I don't think I want to miss out.

Still it's bundle and it should go on that list.

contribution feature should be removed from the site, so people can stop worrying who bought bundle. problem solved.

Bundle list only has games that were given away free, exploited for cheap or indie bundles,

none of those reasons apply to this. this isno different from buying a game bundle on steam.

The Amazon Bundles were just as crazy (Bioshock 1+2, Borderlands GOTY, Duke Nukem Complete for $5 gave at least $100 of contribution).

We need to stop worrying about "why" people are giving things away and just enjoy the free games :)

Agree with this. It has always seemed a fuzzy line at best between sales / deals and bundles.

The whole point of the bundle rule is for the pay what you want bundles - if you gift it as a bundle you only get a couple points, but if you separate it, you got shit tons of points. That's why the bundle cap was introduced, mostly for humble bundles and whatnot. Since this isn't a pay what you want bundle (or is it?) it's the same thing as buying it on sale on Steam.

Because for $6 you can giveaway games worth $80 in contribution value (Skydrift, Jagged Alliance:BIA, Jagged Alliance:Crossfire), but regardless, it's a darn good deal that people should take advantage of, and some underappreciated games.
